Eldon, our driver could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend him! He was helpful and courteous. He was timely and fast. His minivan was clean and comfortable. I saved his number to refer others. read more

Did not end up using this service as they didn't answer my call and dispatch a vehicle

what happened with my ride earlier so there's no misunderstanding. I paid by card and added the gratuity automatically to the ride since I didn't have cash. When I was getting out, I was moving carefully because I have a knee injury and didn't want to fall or re-injure it. I did feel a bit rushed, and the interaction came across as a little rude, because my driver said I can't waist anymore time he was a very rude driver so I wanted to explain my situation and clear things up. I appreciate your understanding. Overall the service was fine but I did feel a bit rushed, and the interaction came across as a little rude, read more

Unreliable and immoral. Horrendous. We took a 10 minute ride across town to the hot springs from our hotel at 8:30pm and the driver verbally confirmed he would pick us up at 10pm when the hot springs close. Obviously our phone was in a locker and when we went to collect our things at closing time, we discovered a text telling us that the driver accepted a ride taking him out of town and would not be available to pick us up until at least 11pm. Thus, leaving us stranded at a closed resort, and forcing us to walk over a mile on a dimly lit path back to our hotel in the late evening. Not safe, not professional, and not a service I would ever give another penny to. I highly recommend using ANY other car service in the area. This one clearly does not have any moral or value standards and will abandon you if they have a "better" ride (ie. pays more) read more

I booked a ride 36 hours in advance for an early morning ride to the airport from the villas at snowmass. They called me and confirmed my ride during the day before the ride. They ended up calling me at 10:15pm, before a 6am scheduled pickup telling me they have no drivers. I'm literally in bed and they said sorry and said to try an uber. I would not trust this company for any rides where you actually need to be anywhere at a certain time. read more

Used them in Glenwood Springs. Only one person on a Sunday night. He was prompt though and we even were able to arrange a timed pick up and he was right on time. read more

I recently had an encounter with this company at the Aspen Airport with the rudest driver I've ever met. Immediately the driver was rude, but then quoted $100 for a trip that is 6 miles away. I said that the High Mountain Taxi website had estimated $54-$58 and he responded that they didn't even have a website (they do in fact, have a website) and that I was lying. He was then very condescending to us, saying "Well I guess we'll see then at the end of the drive," obviously saying that it was going to be $100. I wasn't willing to spend money on a company where I would be treated badly and charged double what the website had quoted, so we found another way to get where we were going. Just to prove that the website does exist, and does give quotes, I've attached a screenshot. I also didn't appreciate that when we said we didn't want a ride, the driver told us we wouldn't be able to find anyone else anyways...newsflash, we did. read more

Arrived early. Was incredibly kind and accommodating, made a detour so that I could grab something at a nearby store since I wasn't feeling well. I used them twice, and both experiences were fantastic. Highly recommend and great customer service. read more

i called the day before for a pick up at 6:30 am for a flight. They didn't show up and when I called, they said I had cancelled my reservation. I absolutely did not cancel the reservation. This travel day has started out to be pretty stressful, not to mention an extra $80 that I am now spending for airport parking. If I were you, I'd think twice before booking with this company. I would love to give no stars but that is not an option. read more

we tried them three times. The one thing I can guarantee is that they'll be late. We even booked 24 hours in advance for an 8:45 AM pick up. We called at nine and they told us they were 25 minutes out. The good news is they taught me how to use Uber . read more

Zero stars if possible. Confirmed the car 2x and they still booked it for the wrong day. Dispatcher was incredibly rude. Call someone else!!

Always reliable and friendly. It's my choice of cars in the valley.you can make a reservation for a pick up ahead of time and rest assured your car will be there on time. read more

Terrible! If I could give less than 1 star I definitely would! They have absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. You have to make a reservation at least 2 hours in advance and MAYBE they show up! Can't get updates when they're going to be there if at all. Left my friend and I (btw, seniors and disabled) out in below freezing temperatures. Couldn't get back to our hotel for 4 hours! Unacceptable! read more

Screw this company. We had called the previous night and confirmed that they could take us to Vail, Co. The dispatch told us yes, just go to Aspen airport and you can take a taxi from there. So we showed up this morning and called for a taxi, when he arrived, we were told that he can't take us. Then told us another taxi will be along shortly that can. So we waited. Another taxi showed up, loaded us up, notified his dispatch that he was taking us. Immediately, his dispatch called back and yelled at the driver to unload us and that they will not be taking us. The driver fought for us, told dispatch we were already loaded. Dispatched response was, "I don't care! Too bad! Get them out of you vehicle!" Basically he was a prick read more

So upsetting- I've always had great service with them, but the driver I had last night was so incredibly disrespectful, unkind and inconsiderate- he was taking me two hours to say goodbye to my husband, who was in an ICU in Denver- he got incredibly unkind and aggressive because my debit card didn't go through (my bank issued a fraud alert), and then got extremely impatient while I tried to contact any family member who might be awake- it was 2:00 am by this time, and got obviously frustrated with my dad, who answered and tried to give him his credit card number multiple times because he didn't understand him- my dad has Parkinson's disease, and then he got in my face threatened to call the police on me and held my dying husband's Worley possessions hostage until he was paid- my husband died while all of this was going on in the ER, so I never got to say goodbye read more

Pickup was faster than estimated. Friendly driver. Clean car . Got me to the airport in time for my flight . What more could you ask for! Great service and would recommend to anyone traveling in aspen. read more

Anything run by Phill Sullivan is run with love. He has the biggest heart that any human being can have. I have been many places with this man and his number one concern is for the people around him. He has driven me from the Grand Canyon to the most remote parts of Idaho in style and with a minimum amount of cursing. And, no he didn't pay me for this review, I actually owe him $20(I am totally good for it Phillip!) read more

Nothing I can complain. The taxi service was great for a small town with limited access to Uber/Lyft. You got a text confirmation immediately upon booking and the driver arrives super on time. We were very happy with their service. read more

Hands down the worst taxi service ever! We had two drivers who couldn't pick us up at a venue they dropped us off at. If there is some competent person who could start a decent taxi service please do. This is atrocious service. Don't ever use them!! If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I can always rely on HMT to get me to where I need to be. I use them every time I am going to the airport and not once, in the 100s of times I've used them, have they been late. Not once! The drivers are all incredibly kind and are some sort of staple in the community. I remember my last HMT driver was a teacher/coach at Aspen High School for over 20 years, which is pretty amazing. Anyways, they are a great cab service! Yes, they may be busy sometimes, but well worth the wait, in my opinion. read more

So frustrated! High Mountain Taxi bought out Valley Taxi and now taxi service in Glenwood Springs might as well not even exist. Multiple times I have tried to get a cab on nights I worked late, only to be told the only driver on duty has just gone to Rifle or Aspen. Causing wait times of 1-3 hours. I thought making a reservation would solve that issue, but I was wrong. At pick up time I got a call from dispatch that it would be another 30 minutes, which ended up being over an hour wait beyond my reservation time. I've talked with other people who are experiencing the same issues. I guess the company doesn't value Glenwood Springs riders. It's unfortunate. read more

Excellent service! We called the night before. Got a text confirmation that night and the next morning. They were right on time and the driver was helpful and kind. Five stars! read more

Don't rely on this company for your taxi services!! We called them to book a taxi to the airport a day in advance. We had a 7:20 am flight and we needed to be there at least 45 minutes in advance in order to check in. We had three suitcases, a snowboard bag, crib, stroller and three children! Needless to say it was kind of important that we arrive on time. A woman at the company booked our pick up... she informed my husband that we were scheduled for a pick up time at 6 am and then abruptly hung up. So what happened? They completely no showed. We called them in the morning at 6:05 after hustling to have all our stuff ready outside freezing with three tired children. A gentleman answered and said they had no knowledge of our booking! He was actually pretty helpful and apologetic. He scheduled a cab to come immediately. 45 minutes later a cab arrived. Long story short, we missed our flight and we were stuck at the airport for over three hours so we could catch the next flight. By the time we got on our flight, kids were on a next level fussy and tired. It was really fun (sarcasm)! read more

I just tried to make a reservation to book a time for pickup today. For the morning of the 1st of january. And the girl who picked up the reservation system just said they probably won't even have taxes England would springs and couldn't guarantee anything even though they just bought out the other taxi cab service. So down valley from Glenwood springs to Carbondale who knows what's going on terrible customer service and it sucks we really only have one taxi cab service in the valley now. read more

Real convenient in Aspen since Uber and Lyft are really not an option most of the time. You can book a pickup in advance which is great later in the evening when the hotels shuttles stop running. Prices are extremely affordable, much less than Uber or Lyft (if you can even get one). read more

This is a great service that I have used for years. Just be aware that you are in a small town with many other tourists and the roads can become unexpectedly congested. GIVE YOURSELF EXTRA TIME to reach your destination regardless of which service you use. HMT drivers are polite, helpful with the baggage, know their way around, and do the best they can with the unpredictable traffic conditions. Excellent service. read more

Currently 25 min late for a pickup. No help from the operators. I'll avoid using them at all costs going forward.

if I could give no stars, I would. this company has disappointed the locals here time and time again, just booked a ride to try and go to work, she said five minutes, went outside then she called to said they were completely booked after I was waiting for a ride. do yourself a favor and never rely on these guys read more

Unreliable. Dangerous. Unprofessional. Rides including pre-scheduled rides frequently canceled. Or very very very long wait times. One driver purposely and repeatedly slammed on the brakes- despite no traffic.. after being informed of my husbands recent brain injury. Sounds like a form of assault to me! Driving with them is hazardous! Never never again!! read more

Great service, wonderful drivers. We used High Mountain Taxi several times to get around the Aspen/Snowmass area and found their service to be prompt & efficient. The icing on the cake is their exceptional crew of drivers. Each driver we had was super polite and extremely knowledgeable about the nuances of the area, local history, nature, etc. During our drive to and from Ashcroft for some cross country skiing we were treated to two different impromptu guided tours of the same beautiful valley. The texting option for summoning a cab also adds great convenience. Thank you High Mountain Taxi for adding to our enjoyment of Aspen! read more

I used these guys everyday I was in aspen and they are quick as hell and always very helpful. I love the text message system they have. It is quick and easy to use. I mean I know aspen is a small town but still it was nice to have a taxi within minutes of requesting one. read more

Great service, just called them ahead of time, and my taxi with a friendly driver was waiting for me.

It's lucky for them they have a monopoly. My daughter took a ride from Aspen to Snowmass and when the tip was not large enough, the driver took the opportunity to insult her instead of being thankful for any gratuity at all. This is the kind of attitude that leads to me writing any review at all. Too bad Uber doesn't operate in Aspen/Snowmass. read more

Had the hotel book the night before, received a text message confirming a specific time. The cab didn't show up until 30 minutes after the requested arrival time which made us have to rebook our excursion. I called the company and he said if I wanted a taxi for 9:40 I should have requested it for 9:00am? My question is why send me confirmation text for 9:40. When I called he had no customer service skills, didn't even take responsibility then he hung up on me. My advice is to pick another cab company! read more

Great service and great drive from Alex! Drove me a hour to EGE Airport and we had a great conversation.

I called for a taxi and the driver was there in 2 minutes. He was friendly and got me to the airport quickly. I would definitely call again!

We used this taxi company a few times in the past. Most recently ALEX took us from Aspen to Vail-Eagle airport. He arrived a bit earlier than we requested, very polite, helpful, and pleasant, he even made the ride seem shorter. read more
