I was terrified of having my kid in someone else's vechile ( he usually cries in cars always.) A young man named Mike picked us up at montrose airport & had a fancy sign with our name on it & he drove us all from montrose to telluride. We had a s*** tin of heavy bags & he handled them all. He let us install our kids car seat in the bitchen brand new black suv he had & was an absolute pleasure to spend time with and was a fantastic driver. I felt incredibly safe with him behind the wheel & driving my kid. He was also a great tour guide telling us all about the local areas as we drove through them. We opted for the basic private shuttle & although the price seems at first glance to be a little high... ITS NOT! Once u factor in rental cars, insurance, needing a 4x4 if it snows, the stress of never having driven in snow... I'm so glad we opted for this company instead of renting a car. I got nothing but good things to say about these peeps.

After we called dispatch twice (because of no answer), they said because of construction, the shuttle was coming early and they sent us a text but the text didn't go through. They could see the text didn't go through (they told us that) and they didn't try and notify us. We weren't ready an hour early and were going to miss the shuttle, and all the dispatch said was too bad, you can take the next shuttle and miss your flight. The driver was nice and waited for us (and even told us there was no reason to go early because there is no traffic) but the dispatch has no customer service and is not helpful.

Despite my having…read morecalled in the early afternoon on Sunday for a 6:15 Monday am taxi to take me to the airport, and despite being told by the dispatcher "we'll see you right at 6:15 tomorrow morning," the Monday morning dispatcher sent all the taxis out on calls that came in Monday morning. When no taxi arrived at my house, I called to see what was up. I was informed that "reservations are only valid if made more than 24 hours in advance." About 2 minutes later, a K2 taxi passed my street on the way to another call. Apparently the Monday morning dispatcher eventually sent a taxi to my house, but roughly 30 minutes late. I was already almost to the airport, driving myself. I checked my luggage in with the airlines "with 90 seconds to spare" according to the agent. I have tried to inform the owners of this problem, but they never called me back.

Most times the driver will go inside and alert the staff, but I didn't need them to, I'd just like to know this drivers name so that I never get him again. He's lying to somebody. The shuttle itself is is a great ride! not only clean but a smooth ride which up those dirt roads is saying something! The bikes are loaded on carefully and they ensure there is no way of damage / rubbing on the way up. The ride itself was like a guided tour of the views, with insights into the area and trails plus the "give me your trash dont leave it up there" means the leave no trace ethos starts straight away. Having tried other shuttles before this is one is the only one we use now, its a keeper!
