Execution failures on the day * Ceremony & reception music: Christian tracks were played at our non-denominational wedding until I physically changed the song on the DJ's unattended phone. * Audio levels: Microphones were unbalanced; several speeches were inaudible. * First-dance disaster: Despite sending our custom track twice and discussing it on calls, the DJ played the standard radio version. My wife's best friend--who spent hours recording the song--left the reception in tears. * Dance-floor management: The DJ let songs run to full length without fading, couldn't maintain energy, and had guests heading for the exits by 10:30 p.m., even though we paid through 11 p.m. She began packing up early. Post-event response When I raised these issues, TPT's owner dismissed them as "confusion," defended the subcontractor's professionalism, and fabricated claims that guests had requested her for future events--claims my family members deny. He ultimately offered only a one-hour refund for the early shutdown, ignoring the larger failures that undermined our wedding. Bottom line The Party Team over-promises, outsources at the last minute, and takes no real responsibility when things go wrong.
