That they hire mostly young attractive women to do that. I mean that's totally obvious that this is true. The woman I wrote it to turned my letter into security, and even though I've lost tens of thousands of dollars at 3 rivers they kicked me out from going there for 2 years. I've apologized numerous times, that does no good. The security director doesn't care. Someone tell me I am wrong about what I said? Excluding me for saying this is ludicrous. I want to comeback, but these people are not forgiving at all! I was coming in 2 to 3 times a week for years of time. I also mentioned that the hostesses can get you free nights at the casino, and it's nice, but it causes you to lose more money for staying longer. How is that not true, and why should stating the obvious get me kicked out of the casino for 2 years? Now I go to 7 feathers casino where you have no chance to win ever! This is ridiculous I should be reinstated immediately! Read less Written February 28, 2026 This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's also smaller than both of those I think, and I prefer the smaller ones as long as they have a substantial non-smoking section. Three Rivers is operated by the Confederated Tribes of of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians. Like other Indian gaming, Three Rivers is a way for these peoples to care for their members. This casino opened as a casino only, but they expanded and added a hotel within a few years. Makes sense, since plenty of folks visit the coast as a tourist attraction regardless of whether there's a casino here. I have stayed here once with my mom because she had the points to spend the night. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I only play slot machines since I don't know how to play any of the other casino games, and they have pennies, five cent, quarter, and so on--the ones you'll find in just about every casino nowadays. They also have a food court with a few different types of restaurants--a kind of coffee bar, a burger place, and a seafood option; they also have a more sit-down restaurant as well. I appreciate that they have a family bathroom, since that made it a bit easier for me to take care of the baby. Haven't won my fortune here yet, but I'll probably visit again to try.

Hiring The Party Team (TPT) was one of our biggest wedding-planning mistakes. Up front,…read morecommunication was solid: TPT met with us, collected a detailed questionnaire, and charged a premium rate--including an extra hour of play time--so we felt confident everything would run smoothly. Last-minute bait-and-switch Two weeks before the wedding, TPT reassigned us--without consultation--to a subcontractor we had already reviewed (and ruled out) while searching for DJs. This subcontractor charges roughly $500 less than what we paid TPT, yet no price adjustment or opt-out option was offered. Worse, TPT failed to forward the questionnaire we spent hours completing; I had to tell the subcontractor to request it. Execution failures on the day * Ceremony & reception music: Christian tracks were played at our non-denominational wedding until I physically changed the song on the DJ's unattended phone. * Audio levels: Microphones were unbalanced; several speeches were inaudible. * First-dance disaster: Despite sending our custom track twice and discussing it on calls, the DJ played the standard radio version. My wife's best friend--who spent hours recording the song--left the reception in tears. * Dance-floor management: The DJ let songs run to full length without fading, couldn't maintain energy, and had guests heading for the exits by 10:30 p.m., even though we paid through 11 p.m. She began packing up early. Post-event response When I raised these issues, TPT's owner dismissed them as "confusion," defended the subcontractor's professionalism, and fabricated claims that guests had requested her for future events--claims my family members deny. He ultimately offered only a one-hour refund for the early shutdown, ignoring the larger failures that undermined our wedding. Bottom line The Party Team over-promises, outsources at the last minute, and takes no real responsibility when things go wrong. If your event matters, hire a dedicated DJ directly--skip the middleman. I would never work with The Party Team again.

This left our guests cramming around the remaining tables. We, of course, didn't have to pay for the two unused tables, but no other compensation for our compromised party experience. Unfortunately I wouldn't count on them to fulfill their promise. If you do use them, be sure you have a plan B.

The fries are always a big hit, wish they had a buffet, we typically come here for the grill or crispy sandwich or halibut sandwich. This particular day my halibut was two small strips! Not too happy about it, usually it's a fillet. I'll still come back, won't order the fish no more since the cook got Shiesty with my fish! Giving them 4 stars for good service! I will come back, I recommend the chicken sandwich. For being a casino I feel that this place can step up their game in the menu. Just my opinion.. Great view on both locations!

Most of my problems are related to the actions and temperament displayed toward me by the reservations staff, Heather the supervisor, and Nick, an employee with 6 years tenure. I found their communications with me to be unfriendly, disrespectful, devious, and not ones that reflect favorably on the massive corporate structure whose rules they of course follow, unflinchingly. I refuse to spend any of my time and/or money with people and companies that treat me like Chinook Winds incorporated, trains, expects and requires their service employees to treat customers. So sayonara, I will never return Heather. I hope your corporate profits will now soar in 2026 since you have charged me a late checkout fee of $25, when I was led to believe otherwise in a conversation I had with Nick at 11:20am, and not notified that I would be charged by a very dour Heather at 12:45 when I was granted admittance to my room for 5 minutes to collect my things. Just duplicitous and deceitful behavior. Ciao for now, and forever!!
