It was not easy but most of the time people here in Florida are correct. All impact is just the single exception. They told us "don't worry it's written 24 weeks in the contract but it should be done before the hurricane season" and this was march the 1st. Our windows have been installed November the 7th and they just destroyed the walls and the windows have deficiencies. They said it was because of the manufacturing delays but did nothing the get the permit on time which made the delays even longer. We've had hurricane Ian in the meantime. They destroyed the fresh painted walls and didn't want to cure "because it's not written in the contract". So you as a customer will sign a contract that only engages YOU don't expect them to feel responsible for anything. If I had not retained the final payment until they cured they would have done nothing (he screens just fell on us, one glass has a distorsion and the walls were damaged) and they kept on harassing and threatening me to get paid. The total install time was less than 2 days, and everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional. To begin with, Heath will be your consultant, measure and give you estimates, talk about color options, etc.. We went with dark bronze, which is a very rich dark brown (almost black). Heath is so great at answering questions and getting back to you promptly. He made the process very pleasant and stress free. Once the decision is made, the measurements will be double-checked by another person, and doors/windows will be ordered. They will work with HOAs and will do all the permitting and inspection scheduling. On the day of the inspection, you will have someone come early,make sure all is good, and then once the approval is done, finish all the details like capping screws etc Johnny and his son John were absolutely fantastic, so friendly, extremely thorough, and went through everything twice and more Any concern was addressed, and they literally took all the time needed to make sure everything was perfect. Some info: - Plan ahead as it took about 3 months for everything to be custom-made, so don't expect a fast turnaround - You will have a little out of pocket cost for fixing parts that are a result of changing old doors like tile or stucco repair (like if the old door was too big and the old tiles didn't go all the way). Installation was done on 11/10/2025. We made the installers aware that the slider doors were NOT the correct configuration. Installer said they could be replaced. We have telephoned and telephoned. Most times we get voice messaging and never get a call back. Any time we have talked to someone they tell us the replacement slider(s) are on order. It has become obvious they are NOT on order and we are being lied to. Mark H (last name withheld) (Salesman) and Steve C (last name withheld) (Final Measure Technician) have both confirmed the slider(s) are NOT the correct configuration. After trying to deal with several people representing BNT Impact Windows & Doors we were passed (once again passed on to someone else) on to Ray P (last name withheld) . He also told us (4-5 weeks ago) that the doors are on order. We have gotten one text message from him after we texted him first. We have heard NOTHING from him since he last told us the replacement slider(s) doors are on order. It has been almost ONE YEAR since we initially placed our order for windows and slider doors. There has also NOT been a formal county safety inspection! There are also voids in one door that allow lizards and bugs to enter our home. See Pictures. NO MORE PROMISES AND EXCUSES! It is unacceptable to be told things are on order when it is obvious they are not. In FRUSTRATION we have contacted a lawyer, Robson D.C. Powers, Esq. of Powers and Rogers, PLLC. NO ONE from 'Installation' ever contacted us. We now know that we were being LIED to by everyone we were handed off to. To rectify our situation another window installation contractor will be engaged. The building permit has expired because BNT Impact Windows & Doors delayed, lied and misled us running out the clock. Many customers' money was stolen by someone at BNT Impact Windows & Doors. The company has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and may be looking for financial backing to remain in business. The company should be allowed to fail and those responsible should be charged in a court and if convicted sentenced to an appropriate amount of jail time. Customers have had thousands of dollars stolen from them. Anyone who has been caught in this scam should seek legal advice and hopefully a criminal indictment will be issued against the perpetrators.

Buyer Beware - Paid in Full, Over 5 Months Later, Still No Windows…read more I paid BNT Windows in full on February 5, and more than five months later, I still do not have my windows installed. I was quoted 6 weeks. Even more concerning, the permit application wasn't submitted until approximately three months after I had already paid. These permits were never paid for by BNT as per city of Fort Lauderdale officials . Since then, it has been one delay after another with no accountability. Every time I spoke with management, there was a different excuse for why the project had not moved forward. My apartment is only about 1,000 square feet, yet after all this time I still don't even have a scheduled installation date. My salesperson, Ray, provided extremely poor customer service throughout this process. The manager, Alex Huynh, has ignored my emails for more than two weeks, and now the company is no longer returning my calls. At this point, I believe this company took my money without providing the service promised. The lack of communication, repeated delays, and complete failure to follow through have been unacceptable. Their project management and logistics appear completely disorganized. I will be filing a lawsuit, submitting a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and reporting this matter to the appropriate consumer protection agencies for what I believe may constitute fraudulent business practices. If you're considering BNT Windows, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Save yourself the stress, time, and money.
