We had a very contemporary design with a lot of straight lines in our tile work and extended grass areas and everything lines up at a razors edge. I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews, but I had such a great experience with this company that I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of quality workmanship and a high level of professionalism. I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). Envirogreen does good quality work, and we are very happy with the results! When we are ready to have work done on our front yard, we will be calling Envirogreen again!

From the moment we met him, we knew he was going to be the contractor we chose for a full landscape design and implementation from a straight dirt lot. He was the only contractor that arrived on time, came prepared to work, listened to all four of the decision makers for our house, and suggested solutions to resolve all concerns. We hired him to design the landscape which he did on a 3D software that gave us a real feel for what it would look like in real life - honestly, do not hire a designer if they dont provide a 3D drawing. The design was impeccable, every detail was so well thought out and he included features that really showed he was listening to every word we said. We made a few minor changes and he returned the updated designs promptly and exactly as promised. After we all approved the designs, he got his team out to do the install and that was really impressive to watch. His team that ramped up to 10 people was on time every morning and all left after a full days work. Sean's timeframe was spot on, and after he was completed, we were so excited about our new, beautiful landscape. What was once a pile of dirt became a masterpiece, and Sean was our Picasso. That's not all though, I always wait to review until after an issue has been dealt with. We have had a nagging problem with our valves failing causing excess water near the valve box. Sean sent guys immediately that day to resolve the issue by changing the valves. It happened again and Sean realized it was not the valves, but the water pressure, so the day after that he sent out a plumber who did the work on the spot, no questions ask and no additional cost. So it's easy to see why our family has been so impressed with Sean, from his kindness and sincerity at the beginning, to his incredible design talent, to his great installation team, and most importantly his willingness to resolve issues after they are found. We highly recommend Sean to all our friends and family and suggest you considering him as well. We have the best yard in the city now all thanks to him!

Swimming Pool and Outdoor Renovation Experience Decision to…read moreUpgrade Our Outdoor Space After more than two decades of use, we realized it was time to update our swimming pool. This decision also made it clear that our landscaping and patio area, which were just as old, needed an upgrade as well. At first, we had no idea where to begin with such a large project. Finding Inspiration and Choosing a Contractor During the summer, we noticed that our neighbors were having some outdoor work done. Curious, I took note of the name on the vehicles parked at their house. This led me to reach out to Lone Star Landscaping through their website one Sunday, leaving our contact information. Initial Contact and Planning Chris from Lone Star Landscaping called me the very next day. He was very informative, asking about our goals for the project and bringing up important questions that I had not even considered. During our phone conversation, Chris provided basic estimates for the various items we wanted to address. Once we confirmed that we were aligned in our vision, we scheduled an appointment to meet onsite and review our goals in detail. Onsite Consultation and Material Selection My husband and I spent significant time meeting with Chris, touring both our front and back outdoor areas, and sharing our vision for the renovation. Chris offered valuable suggestions throughout our conversation, demonstrating the depth of his experience in this field. We quickly realized the importance of working with someone who truly understands the nuances of outdoor design. After we reached an agreement on the project details, Chris provided us with samples of the various pavers, tiles, and travertine options. This allowed us to see how the materials would look in the natural light of our own backyard before making a final decision. Watching the Transformation Once we had selected our materials and gave the go-ahead, the work began. It was truly a joy to watch Chris's team bring our project to life. The Renovation Process and Results Chris and his team displayed exceptional skill throughout the renovation. We decided to replace our backyard patio area with beautiful travertine and add a few new spaces for the barbecue and around the pool equipment. My personal goal was to have a surface so smooth and comfortable that I could walk the entire area barefoot. Watching the travertine being installed was a fascinating experience, as we could see the design gradually taking shape. The finished result is absolutely stunning. Even during the renovation, neighbors walking by would frequently comment on how impressive the transformation looked. Enjoying the Results and Looking Forward The outcome of our backyard renovation has exceeded all expectations. We spend a great deal of time outdoors, and since the project was finished, my husband and I have often remarked on how remarkable the work is. Chris's craftsmanship and attention to detail delivered results that were even better than we had envisioned. We were so impressed with the transformation that we decided to entrust Chris with our front yard remodel as well. We are excited to see how that project will turn out. If you value experience, quality, and honest professionalism, Lone Star Landscaping is an excellent choice. We would gladly recommend them to anyone considering a landscaping project.

We…read morewere looking to completely redo the landscaping on a townhome we purchased in Scottsdale that had very basic landscaping. This is our second home today and will be our retirement home in a few years, so getting it right mattered. We had already started plans with another designer, but that relationship did not work out--the designer simply didn't "get" us. Rob was different from the very beginning. He listened carefully to everything we wanted and immediately understood our priorities. When I explained that we had a small yard and wanted to make use of every inch, he fully embraced that challenge. Our vision included an outdoor kitchen with both a gas grill and a Kamado grill, a fountain, a beehive fireplace, pavers covering roughly 80% of the yard, and a cactus-forward desert aesthetic. We were also considering a pergola and a covered extension. We started the planning process months in advance, and Rob was patient throughout. We went through multiple design iterations as we refined and dialed in the plan, and he never rushed the process. His large-scale, highly detailed drawings were extremely professional and gave us confidence before construction ever began. We were out of state at our primary residence for roughly the first 75% of the project. I had cameras installed at the front of the property and could watch some of the early progress remotely. About halfway through the project, I came out to select the granite for the outdoor kitchen, and with help from Rob's crew chief, I installed cameras in the backyard as well. That allowed me to watch the final stages--planting, fireplace construction, and finishing work--from out of state. Rob's crew is exceptional. They work like a tight-knit family. They are detail-oriented and do not cut corners. I watched hours of them working. They actively consult with each other, debate angles and placement, and redo work when something doesn't come out exactly right. They are extremely competent, and when rework is required, they take it on without hesitation or attitude. The yard was beautifully graded, the patio layout is graceful and well balanced, and the team followed the plans precisely--including plant placement, rock selection, and berm design. I rarely encounter workers whose standards match my own, but this crew is focused, disciplined, and holds itself to a very high bar. We are extremely pleased with the final outcome and would confidently recommend Coconut Contracting to anyone looking to create a high-quality, thoughtfully designed outdoor living space.

Right from the start we found James from SonoranScapes the most responsive and professional. Other companies either took way too long to reply to calls or certainly were not the most innovative people to deal with. We previously worked with one landscaper to develop a design for the entire yard - back and front. While it took much longer than anticipated, it helped to give us a visual layout. This experience however, also gave us the necessary input to realize we did not want to continue working with that organization. The quote from SonoranScapes was the most competitive we received. The work was to complete implementation in both back and front of our property and James's quote encompassed all the work we wanted without cutting any corners. We were quoted nearly twice as much from other organizations. We had a few concerns about the design we had, and James was able to provide us with some great alternatives and suggestions to make the end project look outstanding. He was incredibly easy to work with, flexible and always responsive to any questions we had. We would also mention that James is very "hands-on", besides being onsite most of the time and very involved in the actual work. The SonoranScapes team was great throughout the entire process - they were prompt, respectful, professional, and most importantly delivered a STELLAR final product. James answered all our questions and checked in with us on a regular basis about the progress, and any updates. We couldn't have asked for anything more! We now have a beautiful and picturesque yard with an entertaining space. We highly recommend SonoranScapes.
