My family had decided to spend several days at a beautiful lodge high up in the mountains…read more(11,500ft). Unfortunately, one of us succumbed to altitude sickness on the first full day as she suffered from sleeplessness, headaches, nausea, and generally feeling terrible. (This is what happens when you go from San Diego to Breckenridge in a short span.) We were almost an hour from calling off the entire vacation when we saw the advertisement for 24 Hour Oxygen. A quick look at their website, and a phone call with Robert led us to understand that they could help. Within 2 hours, an oxygen generator arrived at our front door and our sick companion was feeling better. The company was quick, compassionate, understanding, and eager to help in anyway that they could. I would recommend 24 Hour Oxygen without hesitation to anyone who is feeling a bit off at the higher altitudes of Breckenridge. They will help!

I spoke with a "Robert" a few times after my trip was over and he assured me I would get my deposit back. I even called once and a person who sounded like "Robert" answered and gave me a different name. I've also reached out via email and the "contact" portion of their website but have not heard back. It's only $125 but this feels like a scam. I would advise against doing business with 24 Hour Oxygen.

This past summer came to Breckenridge with a family member that had altitude sickness and the…read moremedical center sent us home with a tank of Oxygen from Summit Oxygen. We dropped it off on the way back to Denver at their office in Frisco. This week we came back for skiing and I tried to call and find out the cost to get a tank for the 6 days we would be in town and what charge there would be to have them pick it up in Breck on Sunday since we have to leave so early in the morning. First of all the young lady answers the phone and does not find us in the system which is clearly not our problem. We were here 6 months ago. She tries to sell me a $275 tank! I explained that I want the @60$ tank. No frills. $20 refills. I kept asking the girl how much it will be to have them collect the oxygen on Sunday (since they are only open M-F 9-5). This alone is a reason to find another option. She could not give me a straight answer. Made me nuts. How complicated is it? I just wanted to see if I should pay them to pick it up or have a friend deliver it back Monday when they are open. Impossible to get an answer so I said never mind. A few hours later we arrived at the office to pick up the oxygen tank. Steve is an idiot. He tried to be "cool" speaking terrible Spanish with my boyfriend who has lived in the US for 39 years and speaks 4 languages fluently but has an accent ( he is Brazilian) which shows how ignorant Steve is since he does not know a Brazilian from any other Latin. Anyway, Steve tried to up sell us again. We took the tank and will drop it back tomorrow (Friday) and find another company to do business with going forward.

IRIS! I've never had anything but wonderful interactions with City Market / pharmacy staff but…read moretoday I was scolded and treated in the most passive aggressive childish way by IRIS. Evidently I "disrespected her" by being in my cell phone when I went to pick up a product. I had a family matter I was trying to resolve with a person who was on the other side of the world in Singapore and I had finally reached them at the same time I got 5 min to slip out of work to make it during pharmacy hours. I work the same hours as city market pharmacy and I must take time out of work in order to pick up anything from the pharmacy. Iris was at the counter and asked for my date of birth, which I gave her while still on the phone. She told me I was not allowed to be on the phone. I said I was with a family member and needed to remain on the call. She picked up my product, put it in a basket behind the counter, and walked away without saying another word. She looked back at me, holding my cell phone to my ear with distain. Another loaded walked up and took over for "disrespected Iris". She kindly asked me ti end the conversation informing me- "you're not supposed to be on your cell phone ..." still confused and with hesitation, I ask my family member if I could call them back. I've been trying to reach her for days in Singapore! I hung up the phone, picked up my product, and asked for clarification about cell phone usage. She said it was disrespectful. I looked around the pharmacy for any notation or signage about cell phones being prohibited but I didn't see any. I was grateful for the kindness of the other lady, but Iris... Not sure what her problem is! City market, please clarify? And if there is some rule - post signs and please also help Iris with her customer service! We have a choice to go to other places around town and believe me- mine is going to CVS or Walgreens!
