Yup on hold. Probably quicker to drive to target and yell across the counter. ..........incredible possible infinite hold time.

The reviews are correct. They never answer the phone. Terrible service. Wish they cared to actually provide service.

I don't know why you would not give me a bag for my two liter drink that I couldn't carry with the 80$ worth of other items you crammed into the other bag, but when you did and the handle was broken- it was not necessary to engage into a argument with me about how the handle was not broken and whatever else you said(not sure you even know). I was nice and more than willing to pay 10 cents for the bag and giving me a another bag with A broke handle and then gaslighting me saying handle isn't broken when it is- was obviously a misunderstanding on your part. I can forgive all that, what I don't understand is the attitude you and your manager got as if I was attacking you personally. I don't know what's I'm with your life or history that you treated me like you did, but I hope that people never treat you like you guys treated me. Hope you guys choose to be better. And if not, best of luck.

I tried to get a prescription three times before it actually worked out...store was closed at 4:15 on a weekday, then pharmacy was closed all weekend, then the last time the pharmacy was just drive in only, but whatever. I got my prescription, the pharmacy staff were all really nice and I just learned to call ahead for hours before driving over. Many businesses are short staffed these days , but closing a pharmacy on a weekend is a bit unusual. Anyway, call ahead so you don't waste a trip.

IRIS! I've never had anything but wonderful interactions with City Market / pharmacy staff but…read moretoday I was scolded and treated in the most passive aggressive childish way by IRIS. Evidently I "disrespected her" by being in my cell phone when I went to pick up a product. I had a family matter I was trying to resolve with a person who was on the other side of the world in Singapore and I had finally reached them at the same time I got 5 min to slip out of work to make it during pharmacy hours. I work the same hours as city market pharmacy and I must take time out of work in order to pick up anything from the pharmacy. Iris was at the counter and asked for my date of birth, which I gave her while still on the phone. She told me I was not allowed to be on the phone. I said I was with a family member and needed to remain on the call. She picked up my product, put it in a basket behind the counter, and walked away without saying another word. She looked back at me, holding my cell phone to my ear with distain. Another loaded walked up and took over for "disrespected Iris". She kindly asked me ti end the conversation informing me- "you're not supposed to be on your cell phone ..." still confused and with hesitation, I ask my family member if I could call them back. I've been trying to reach her for days in Singapore! I hung up the phone, picked up my product, and asked for clarification about cell phone usage. She said it was disrespectful. I looked around the pharmacy for any notation or signage about cell phones being prohibited but I didn't see any. I was grateful for the kindness of the other lady, but Iris... Not sure what her problem is! City market, please clarify? And if there is some rule - post signs and please also help Iris with her customer service! We have a choice to go to other places around town and believe me- mine is going to CVS or Walgreens!

I would like to commend Walgreens for taking a high profile vacant retail space on The Hill and…read moreproviding a selection of goods that goes beyond duplication of what else is available in the immediate neighborhood. That being said, it is a real shame they have not followed the lead of a major national competitor and removed the sale of cigarettes from their supposed health oriented business plan. They have filled all three levels of this former bookstore facility. The basement level is the vitamin, supplements, first aid and quasi medical supplies that you would find in other chains, offering both national brands and private store brands. Plenty of sizes available which seems to be a failing of the big groceries and discount box stores. There is no prescription pharmacy at this location. Being adjacent to campus, they are serving a population that generally receives University healthcare which includes their own, and very affordable pharmacy. The main level still sells CU gear as before along with school supplies, tech accessories and gift items. There is a grocery section including refrigerated and freezer cases of convenience foods. The upper mezzanine level includes beauty, personal care and household cleaning supplies. On opening day, there was plenty of staff and checkouts on the main floor and the mezzanine. I doubt they will maintain so much staff unless they attract a larger number of customers. The prices are higher than you would find at a destination big box but if you sign up for rewards membership, it becomes far more competitive. This is true of all such health chains. Today my member savings was over $8. Get rid of the cigarettes and I will go up a star!

Parking immediately north of the building, but limited. Easy access from campus via a nearby pedestrian underpass and adjacent to a RTD stop (Broadway & College). Freezer and fridge contains a lot of beverage and food options. Any of your usual needs at a Walgreen's are available, but there is no pharmacy on-site. Clean and very organized. Thankful for Karen, who was so helpful when i was shopping on the top floor.
