We did multiple activities including the toboggan, Indy cars, and batting cages. The Indy cars we were most excited about but was extremely poorly run. They were down to a single iPad for entering in "account information" which would disconnect frequently and massively hold up the lines. Also with folks rotating helmets left and right you were subject to a sweaty helmet straight from the head of another patron to yours. Would have loved some level of sanitation or head cover in between. It felt disorganized and frantic getting people through. Then there was the batting cages which honestly were a sad excuse for what a cage should be. For one, as expressed in many other reviews there simply aren't enough bats. There's one single adult sized bat there split across say 6 different cages which as you can imagine creates quite the bottleneck when trying to participate. Also the majority of the helmets are either falling apart or way too big. Just gave the feeling of knowing it's a problem and not wanting to fix it. Expect a wait if you're looking to get more than a couple swings in, or a bent children's bat for that matter. Lastly was just the general things like empty hand sanitizers, no paper towels in the men's bathroom, things that aren't that major but just add up when you see it consistently across multiple areas. Especially for the price you pay for a pass, it just didn't seem accounted for. I enjoyed time friends but would by no means recommend or rush back to this summer activity as it is simply not worth the drive out from Portland.

Short walk uphill, the guy at the parking, when we asked how to get to the restaurant, he directed us to a elevator or to hike up the steps. We picked the elevator. From there, we went up to the main lodge, steps to the top floor, to the bar & restaurant, and were seated right away. We got a good view around the top, sadly, there were no snow to be found, maybe a small handful here & there, farther away. It's still very beautiful inside & outside, so close to nature! We ordered a meatball sandwich and clam chowder, that we shared. And it came to our table nicely divided, with two plates, and two bowls. There were lots of clams and that was good, but the crispy onions on top made it salty! The service was very friendly. The meatballs were very tasty, I really liked that. It was a very interesting environment for eating. The Lodge restroom, was not easy to find, the entrance was like a half revolving door, when you enter, someone is coming out, or you wait and let the other go out. My husband was here when he was about 10 years old, with his grandparents. He only remembers a black & white photo of him.

I can't believe the details the Civilian Conservation Corps put it at every turn. Custom iron work and carving everywhere. Truly a work of art. Be ready for snow late n the season. From morning until the lifts close, it's nonstop fun and quality time we all look forward to. One of the things I love most about Mt. Hood Meadows is the variety of terrain. Whether you're just learning or have been skiing or snowboarding for years, there's something for everyone. My favorite has to be the Vista lift -- the ride up offers absolutely breathtaking views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding mountains. It's one of those moments where you just pause and take it all in. And the run down is just as incredible -- smooth, scenic, and so much fun. The real magic happens on those perfect "Blue Bird" days. Clear skies, bright sunshine, and fresh snow sparkling beneath you -- it doesn't get better than that. Those are the days that create lasting memories and keep us coming back year after year. Mt. I did not use it immediately. When I did attempt to use it Timberline would not accept it. I had all receipts and information. I had everything any reasonable vendor would issue on a purchase. Timberline simply refused. WTF?? Then, recently, right after I turned 65, I bought a day pass not recalling I was now eligible for a senior pass- $44 difference. Timberline would not credit the difference between the adult day pass and the senior day pass. So the heck with Timberline. Just another greedy ski resort. And now that we're talking a review, let me just add that Timberline offers the flattest terrain in the West. .

Our place had a large master bedroom with an adjoining bathroom, as well as two more bedrooms and a second bathroom. The place also included a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as a BBQ on the deck. There's also free Wi-Fi and a large TV that we used to watch both cable and movies. The Collins Lake Resort is also in an ideal location. It is just a short drive to Skibowl where we enjoyed great skiing as well as an awesome experience at night with their cosmic tubing. It is also just a short walk across the street to Government Camp. We had an amazing stay, and I strongly recommend Collins Lake Resort to anyone looking for a great time at the mountains.

Our group of four stayed in Chalet 13 from June 24-27 while attending a wedding at Mt. Hood. The…read morefirst part of our stay was great. We loved the beautiful grounds, and the chalet was comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, around 1:00 a.m. on the second to last night of our stay, we returned from the wedding festivities to find that the entire chalet smelled overwhelmingly of sewage. The odor was present throughout all three floors and became stronger with each level. It was so intense that several of us were gagging and even became physically sick. We attempted to book a room at the nearest hotel but they were fully booked, leaving us with no choice but to stay. We opened every window in the chalet and had to leave them open for the remainder of our stay because the smell was otherwise unbearable. We made every effort to report the issue while it was happening. That night, we called the resort's emergency after hours hotline but never received a return call or any follow up. Upon checking out on the final day, I reported the situation again to the staff member at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, apologetic, and assured me the situation was unacceptable. He explained that the manager, Dan, would contact me and that a partial refund would likely be appropriate given the circumstances. After several days passed without any communication, I reached out to the resort myself. I was told that maintenance had inspected the chalet, along with neighboring units, and could not detect any unusual odor. While I appreciate that they took the concern seriously enough to inspect the property, this was very surprising given that all four of us experienced the smell, and it was severe enough that we were becoming physically ill. I was again told that Dan would contact me, but as of writing this review, I still have not received any phone call or email. It's disappointing because, aside from this issue, our stay would have easily earned five stars. I understand that unexpected maintenance problems can happen and I don't fault the resort for an issue that may have been outside their immediate control. What disappointed me most was the lack of follow through after we were assured someone would reach out. Good customer service isn't just responding in the moment--it's also following through on the commitments made afterward. I genuinely hope the source of the odor has been identified and resolved, as it's a beautiful property and I'd love to recommend it. However, I also hope future guests experiencing an issue like this receive the communication and resolution that we unfortunately never did.
