The customer service, structure and guide are extremely well thought out and efficient. An amazing morning or day for anyone of all skill types. The E-Bike truly makes it a breeze!

This was a blast! It was a great way to get around and see all the falls. We did a half day at 9:30am and the weather was perfect. We were able to go all the way to the end and then hit up the 2 falls we skipped on the way back. We had a number of people ask us questions about the bikes along the way... many talked about wanting to do it.

Really a great way to enjoy the falls in the Columbia River Gorge area. We just visited (in summer) during busy season and while everything was beautiful, vehicle parking at places line Multnomah was simply overflowing. We talked with many visitors who came in by car and couldn't stop to enjoy the huge falls at Multnomah due to parking constraints. Glad we chose to do the EBike thing, as it eliminated any issues with parking or access at any of the locations and was also a great way to cool down in the summer heat in between hikes to the falls. Friendly and helpful staff and a great way to enjoy this beautiful area!

I loved everything about the bike tour. The guide was excellent. I would give the Rad Bikes a low rating, they are a low end Ebike.

Dont worry about being an avid cyclist, the route is chosen so that people of all levels can participate and thoroughly enjoy the ride on the E-bikes. Your day includes vineyards, orchards and fruit stands. If you decide to purchase a case of wine, don't fret, the shuttle will pick that up for you so you can continue on your E-bike. Hood, Mt. Adams, and the idyllic Hood River. Normally a DIY traveler, I can say with complete confidence that the decision to book with MountNbarreL is worth it, whether you are a resident or visitor escaping into the sun-soaked beauty of Hood River wine country. My husband and I took the Original Oak Grove (OG) Tour. Ali, the owner, greeted us with mango kombucha and bottled water and set us up with comfortable, well-tuned cruisers. The bikes are outfitted with deep handlebar baskets to hold any vintage gems you find in the historical Oak Grove Store and clever wine bottle baskets on the back. The route is carefully chosen to be accessible for all levels of cyclists, and if you decide you must have a case of that amazing Viento Riesling, fear not - MountNbarreL's shuttle can pick up purchases on the way so you don't have to take everything with you. The details took this day to the next level. Ali and Sydney bookend the group while cycling so you can enjoy the scenery and views safely. We were pampered with treats throughout, like a charcuterie plate to go with our Italian-style wine tasting at Marchesi and lunch and snacks from Farm Stand in the Gorge (a local cafe and artisanal grocer) while picking blueberries and enjoying a private tour of Phelp's Creek vineyards. What struck me most is that Ali really partners with local wineries and businesses and is an integral part of the Hood River community. This really shows in her deep knowledge of the local wineries, and the warm reception and hand-selected tastings at each stop. I can't imagine a better way to experience Hood River!

Riding an electric…read morebike through the glorious Columbia River Gorge has got to be one of the best ways to cover ground while still being able to smell the roses in this awesome area, and BTG had a decent selection of steeds to meet my needs. Their tour offerings look even cooler, with a bunch of different options (varying in duration and destination), but I chose the self guided tour option before coming back to the shop and then doing a separate test ride on a different bike. Their bikes are all fairly new and up to date, well taken care of and prepped, and come with luggage and locks -- and the customer service I got from the friendly woman who greeted me was outstanding. She set me up, explained the bike and the route and gave me a number to call if anything went south. My Aventon Pace was clean, stout and powerful enough to handle any of the grades I came upon, though it was heavier (and heavier steering) then I liked. I was much happier test riding the new Lectric XP4. A nice rig! The shop itself is a pretty basic setup - a large open bay tucked into a nondescript row of metal industrial warehouses on the other side of the train tracks (literally), a bit east of Cascade Locks main drag. It's a small mom and pop operation, which is fine by me -- it always means better service. (BTW, booking a tour or test ride online is super easy, with availability shown in real time. I'll discuss nitpicks with their website down below) The good; -A nice selection of clean and up-to date electric models, from adventure to cargo to trikes. They're all well-maintained and outfitted with luggage and bike locks. -Owners are great; helpful and knowledgeable and ready with info. - You get to ride unbelievably scenic parts of the gorge no matter which direction you go. The shop provides good directions and destinations at a fair price (if you're doing a tour). The bad: - a better variety of bikes would have been nice. Almost all the e-bikes were of the fat tire type; some hybrids or cross bikes would help round out the options, and a more in-depth description (and corresponding photo) of specific models available on the website would be helpful too. Type of bike, features, weight, best-use, etc. But it was still a great day in the Gorge, cruising on an e-bike, and I'd use these guys again.

I haven't been on a mountain bike in many years but wanted to experience the mountain bike trails at Post Canyon. I have heard about this place as being one of the best mountain bike areas in the Country. I feel fortunate to have found HRMBA and, more specifically, Greg Galliano. He was wonderful in helping us have the most amazing experience as we rode through incredibly beautiful areas in the Post Canyon trail system. Greg knows this area very well and did an excellent job showing us the best trails for our level of experience. He can accommodate all levels of ability. Whether you are beginner, intermediate, or an experienced rider, this is definitely the way to go! We rode mountain bikes which were in new condition and had the latest in design and technology (loved the hydraulic brakes and dropper seatpost!!!). Greg was fantastic in offering a few tips here and there to help me be more efficient on the bike, which I really appreciate. Without a doubt, taking a guided tour with Greg was much better than we could have done on our own with rental bikes and a map. The trail system at Post Canyon is complex and he has local knowledge and resources to ensure an incredible experience for you. His passion for mountain biking, friendly personality, and hospitality are so inspiring you will want to come back for more.
