With a winning personality and soothing demeanor, Julio put me at ease and used creative prompts to change my expression and help me relate to the camera in a way that I've been unable to before. This guy is like some kind of Jedi master or something, drawing out a side of me and a look that I didn't know existed. And then, on the back end, Julio demonstrated a great eye and insightful artistic sensibility. He helped me choose images that I might not have and retouched them in a way that made me look better than I think I really do. And all for a price that was super cheap for what I got. Anyway, I recommend him highly.

Ed explained that he was dealing with some personal challenges at the time and he owned that he completely dropped the ball. Ed brought with him a flash drive memory stick that contained all of the digital pics that he had taken from the wedding, as well he gave us an amazing hardcover book that he had made of the wedding event. In the end, I truly feel that Ed was sincere in his apology and that he has "right sized" his business to a level that he can keep up with....so I would not hesitate to use him again, as his work is amazing!

Ed has a great eye and a unique artistic style. He also got low on the ground to get different angles. It was a fun photoshoot, and everything just flowed today! He's skilled with lighting. I've seen his portfolio evolve since first working with him and can tell he gains more and more depth with each shoot. He can make urban and street photos pop, but can also show a softer side with engagement and maternity photos. Again, I'm excited to see the results!! It's always a pleasure working with him.

Since our wedding was being held in Castro Valley we decided to contact Jeff. From the moment we spoke with Jeff we knew we found the person we wanted to work with us. Jeff is the one of the nicest people we have come in contact with. He was always in a great mood when we met, listened closely to what our vision was, always responded promptly to any of our questions/concerns. He also did prep work that we didn't even request to ensure that he was able to provide the best service he could. The day of the wedding it was just like Jeff was part of the family. Everyone in our party loved Jeff and commented what a great person he is. Our wedding was perfect and Jeff played a major role in it's success. Jeff's rate was beyond fair especially for the quality of service and results he provided. Jeff THANK YOU again for all you did for me and Gerald and we will look forward to working with you in the future and will always point our friends and family to you when opportunities come up. His joy and passion for his work spilled out in all directions and put everyone at ease. He also made my job easier, as he was absolutely receptive to (and even appreciative of!) my reminders of the tight timeline we were working under. He was totally willing and able to adjust on the fly, all while making sure he got the shots that the couple wanted. The photos themselves turned out beautifully! Often times a photographer is stronger in one area than another -- Fernando excels all around. The variety and quality of photos he delivered is impressive. He not only got the posed, formal group and family photos but managed to capture the spirit of the event with his candids! Bottom line: I would highly recommend Fernando for all your photography needs.

I've officially come full circle with the crying when having the feels. I started tearing up…read more while watching myself tear up during our vows in our wedding highlight video. This is the most meta experience I've ever had and I'm 80% embracing it (this is who you married Jenton L.!!) and 20% embarrassed to be admitting this to strangers on the internet. And this embaras-mazing meta experience is brought to you by Anna and her team of talented videographers, Philip and Rosa. When budgeting the wedding, we were wavering on whether or not to hire videographers. After seeking the advice of married friends, we got unanimous answers of "Yes, do it!" and "Yes, do it! I wish I had!" They were all unequivocally right. Having watched almost 100 different highlight wedding videos online (no joke, I'm still recovering), I really loved Seaglass Cinema's "real life movies." All the feelings and clips seemed so real and not overly staged or over-produced. It's the kind of video that's timeless and you can't wait to show your kids or reminisce at a future anniversary. Thankfully, we found Seaglass Cinema.** To plagiarize my previous review of Anna's photography business: "Anna is super easy to communicate with, responds quickly to e-mails, and is as cool as a cucumber. It didn't phase her that I sent her an e-mail six weeks out that only consisted of questions regarding the timeline for wedding day. She didn't even bat an eye when we were running late on wedding day but also, somehow magically made up the time and put us ahead of schedule." Philip and Rosa were amazing videographer ninjas. There were some clips in the highlight video were I went "THEY WERE RECORDING THIS?!?" Also, they worked great with our DJ in making sure they could capture recordings from the microphones during the ceremony and first dance (Jenton L. sang me a song!). But I have to say the most professional/amazing moment was Philip double-fisting TWO heavy cameras during our recessional WHILE WALKING BACKWARDS AND RECORDING FOOTAGE. AND THE FOOTAGE LOOKED AMAZING!! When our highlight video was up (awesome turnaround time!), I immediately watched it no less than five times in a row and cried in the open at work. It should have probably come with the warning message about the feels. Booking Seaglass Cinema is a decision you won't regret. Like all of our friends, if you're thinking about booking a videographer, DO IT!!!! And Seaglass Cinema will put together those amazing memories in a video that will last a lifetime. **Full disclosure, we had already planned on booking Anna to be our wedding photographer. Booking photo + video together does include a discount.

We originally booked them for the basic package, which included 6 hours of shooting. On the day of, they made it to our location early - which was great because I was concerned we wouldn't have any getting-ready footage if they arrived even a few minutes past the scheduled time. They were able to provide us with helpful direction when we needed it, and Anna even came to the rescue with double-sided tape to help hold the fabric on my wedding dress neckline in place when it kept shifting! We ended up running a bit behind schedule, but Anna and Kevin were polite and very unobtrusive when reminding us that we were scheduled to shoot only until 2:20 (we ended up extending shooting for an hour). And, we got our highlight film an (extremely fast) week and a half after the wedding. The film did a great job of capturing the day in just a few short minutes and represented exactly why we'd chosen them in the first place - we thought they were great at telling a cohesive "story" through video. It was a pleasure working with the Seaglass team and I'd recommend them to anyone in the market for a wedding videographer! We love the highlight segment we got from them and know we'll watch it over and over throughout the years!

She came to our home in Oakland on a week night to meet with us and was very responsive with our questions, both in person and through e-mail. Alisa was very interested in learning about the types of pictures we would want to take, where we would want to take them, and our photography style. We did not end up hiring her, but I would have felt comfortable doing so. We just found someone that we liked a little bit more. I would definitely recommend her to friends looking for wedding photographers.

When I first met with them, I was blown away with their expertise, professionalism and personalities. I knew right then and there that I HAD TO HAVE THEM! So what did I do? Booked them right on the spot to ensure my day was going to be photographed by Annabella. Our first photo shoot encounter was during our engagement shoot and this is where my new appreciation for photographers went through the roof. We did it in mid March and it was raining and pouring. We were a little hesitant on doing it in that weather but Jennifer and Alisa persuaded us to just go out there and have fun with the rain. And that is EXACTLY what we did. We grabbed our rain boots and umbrellas an hit the road. Ramon and I looked FANTASTIC in the pictures! Although, I can't say the same for the people "behind the scenes". Jennifer and Alisa were decked out in rain gear from head to toe and their cameras were covered in plastic. While we were under an overhang, they were in the pouring rain trying to get the perfect shot. And to say the least... mission accomplished. I was ecstatic when our images came back. I was so happy we did it in the rain. Each and every shot seemed so much more intimate and very artistic. Fast forward a year.... a few weeks leading up to our wedding.... Jennifer and I were in close contact. She made a point to make sure she understood my vision and hopes for my wedding day photos. She jotted down my "MUST TAKE" photos. I really appreciated this. It showed me she cared to meet all my expectations. It's the little things like this that make a vendor stand out. Fast forward to my wedding day! YAY! =) Perfect, Perfect, Perfect. They were there on time. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. All my must haves were taken. I loooved how every time I looked in a different direction, I saw either Jennifer or Alisa shooting away.... but my favorite part about that was that they were very discrete about it. No one really noticed them and that is a big plus in my book! They were there for me from the very beginning to the very end. A few weeks later, they sent me their images and everyone was BLOWN AWAY! They captured exactly what I wanted and so much more. Not only do their photos speak for itself, but just who they are as a person. During the planning process, they went out of their way to build a friendship and to really get to know us. This played a huge role in how comfortable we were in front of the camera on our wedding day because we had previously established that relationship. Every picture was so natural. We are so grateful and honored to be shot by Annabella Photography. They truly are amazing and artistic people. I can't wait to hire them for upcoming events. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would recommend them and only them to the world!
