It's about 2 hours of classroom time and the other 2 hours are in the range. I personally have shot guns before, but it does give me anxiety and stresses me out - hence I wanted to get more familiar so this doesn't happen. Brooke was so patient and calming, continued to make sure I knew that I didn't have to if I didn't want to - but I did. So she took the time, to make sure I felt as comfortable as I could. Gave me pointers on how to become a better shot. The class is late, so bring a snack and some coffee possibly. They hold a range (no pun intended) of classes. I do plan on coming in at least once a month to continue to work with their staff to become more comfortable. You can rent a lane & try out different guns to see what you like best. Which is super nice because guns aren't cheap! They are all so welcoming and encouraging when asking for guidance. The staff takes the time to make sure your needs are met.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and the facility is a great place to shoot. It's also the only range in Wichita I've found that allows you to practice drawing and rapid fire on a standard lane after completing their Enhanced Firearms Qualification -- a quick and affordable $25 course. Most other ranges only allow this type of training during organized matches such as USPSA, IDPA, or similar competitions, which makes this policy a real standout. They offer excellent savings with annual memberships, plus discounted rates for First Responders, Law Enforcement, and Military personnel. The range also features a large selection of gun rentals, so you don't even need to own a firearm to shoot. They even have machine guns available for rental, which adds a fun and unique experience. The only downside is that the range is located on the far east side of town, which makes for a bit of a drive from my area -- but it's absolutely worth it.
