I have convinced several friends to come with me after my first jump and none have been disappointed in any way. Martin, the owner, is a fantastic guy - he's made me always feel so welcome, almost like family. So if you're looking to get skydiving crossed off that bucket list of yours, or even to return for several more jumps (or get your license!), this is the place to go! One, you need to make sure you have a trail bike, helmet, lots water, and snacks for you ride. The place is open only during light hours. If it rains just wait a couple days for the dirty to dry up to visit and enjoy! I have completed about 3 of the 5 miles of trailing. Just be careful because I have seen people come out with flat tires. It a lot fun and great place to practice. I always put on pants so my legs don't get scuffed up from the trees. If it is closer to summer get some bug spray on your body before you go. Check out their site for more information. The park has a small but pleasant mix of features with a playground, a few short walking trails and enough open space to stretch your legs without feeling rushed. What really makes it memorable is its setting inside Eastborough, that quirky enclave of Wichita where the roads narrow, the speed limit drops way down, and everything feels just a little more tucked away that you expect, which gives the park a calm, almost insulated vibe that worked out great for an unexpected work break.
