In reality they had no idea that the 1951 remington 870 wingmaster 12 gauge that I bought with them online is ready to pick up less than 48 hrs after purchasing . It also fulfilled an obligation that I personally owed to my grandfather you see when I was 8-9 yrs old my grandfather owned this exact gun I used it everyday every chance I got when I turned 18 my grandfather passed but not before he gave me that old gun . A few years went by fell on hard times trying to raise some kids of my own I sold that old gun .. now that I'm in my 70s I spent a life haunted by the fact that I did.. thanks to great and friendly service I can once again wrap my old hands around something that will take me back many years and a lot of memories . I purchased a nice shotgun from Michael Murphy & Sons via Guns International. Prior to purchase, I emailed asking for more detailed photos of the gun. Marc was very accommodating and informed me the shotgun was a customer trade-in and was in near new condition. The price was very reasonable - quite a bit cheaper than buying a brand new one, so I bought it. When the gun arrived at my FFL I was amazed. I truly looked new. I emailed Marc to let him know I received it and was impressed with its condition. He promptly emailed me back and said there had been a minor mixup in which the used gun I purchased was accidentally sold twice, so he sent me a brand new gun of the same make and model. When my sons were younger and we had a limited budget, the Murphy family was there to help me as a dad get shotguns my boys could be proud to own.
