At 7:15, while in route, we called ahead due to the stocking issues we were having with the "big stores" and sure enough, they had some! I've been thinking about this review for about a week now. I truly want to give a higher rating. But I just can't. Let's start with a positive note. Everyone in the store is wonderful. All of the employees are friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Their prices are fair and a great inventory. That's why I'm so disheartened by my experience with the owner, Brad. I brought my AR15 in to be cerakoted. I had a theme in mind, as well as a particular graphic to be placed on the magwell. I dropped the rifle off in mid-May, and didn't get it back until the beginning of August. And it was all wrong. Every bit. The crossed anchors looked as if they had been drawn on by a toddler. The rifle was not disassembled fully prior to painting. He even told me that if I had wanted it to be fully disassembled, I should have specified that beforehand. I have talked with 3 other cerakote professionals, and they all have told me that complete disassembly is standard practice. I also downloaded the cerakote instructions for application, and they state that a "detailed disassembly" is part of the process. (See page numbered 4 of the .pdf at this link: https://www.cerakotehightemp.de/.../H900%20Application...) He didn't have me pay for it because I was not happy. But he was unwilling to do anything to correct the mess that was made. Now I'm stuck with a rifle that looks like trash, and the "artist" telling me to pound sand. Don't have cerakoted projects done here. Avoid it at all costs. After I posted this review on Google, I received a reply from Brad, the owner threatening legal action if I did not remove my review. Today me and my husband wanted to go shooting and the google maps and Apple Maps stated that they closed at 8:30 pm when we showed up It was around 7:20 We was greeted by the owner and he told us they close at 7 we were bummed out because we wanted to get the woman's day discount which is $1 on Wednesday and have a good time as we were goin to head back to the car he then told us to wait and went back inside and told his employees if they are staying and so they did and they let us in and shoot for 45 mins after "closing" I was just beyond satisfied and grateful to have met this really chill local business and this is my second positive review about this place and the reason being is because they never disappoint and have excellent guest services theses are their actual hours of the business they have tried to update on google and Apple but someone keep changing it on the site read more

Excellent in every way. The staff here is friendly and they are very helpful. They offer an indoor range.

Friendly and helpful with nice bathrooms, according to wife. We spent $12 ea for the range, $1 per target, $18 for 50 rd, and 1.50 for ear and eye protection. Electric target placement with distance markers. I would go again. read more

There are MUCH better ranges in town with SIGNIFICANTLY better customer service. I have tried buying guns from them in the past and my experiences have left a lot to be desired. read more

I am writing this review soley on the amazing customer service this company has provided. I had scheduled a concealed carry class for my girlfriend and myself with plans of taking it while on leave(vacation) in the military. Unfortunately due to military necessity, I am unable to come home and attend the class. I called up and spoke to Max who was very courteous, and sounded sincere when helping me receive a refund. Now he told me refunding online class purchases are somewhat rare, but with my circumstance he would see what he could do. He quickly was able to request approval to refund my purchase and it was completed within a day. I will for sure be attending a class with this company as soon as I am able to return home, in addition to hopefully purchasing my next upgrade! Thank you! read more

Do NOT do business with Bullet Shop. My husband regularly cleans his guns, but decided to try a professional cleaning after the season. These pictures are taken 2 hours difference. The top is the morning he took them in. Just as a reference for the serial number. Little did we know they would be proof of how bad of a cleaning this shop did. Unfortunately the cleaning they did took off the enamel waterproof protection that the manufacture put on. Not only did it remove the protection it also scraped away the camouflage paint. As seen in the bottom picture. These guns aren't cheap and yet bullet stop agrees they messed up but wants to put a solid color protection on them taking away the camo just to make it "better." As of right now if my husband doesn't get the clear coating next year his gun will rust due to the protection being removed. These guns have now lost ALL value and this place only wants to put a cheap protecting cover on them. They obviously know they screwed up and yet don't care to make the situation completely right. They only want to offer a cheap crappy resolution. read more

If you need help or have questions you may have to ask. Prices are reasonable, and they will negotiate on some firearms. Membership here is also good at the Bullet Hole in Mission KS. read more

I am new to the area and went in the Bullet Stop to check out some hand guns. I wasn't looking to purchase (secretly I think they knew that). THEY didn't care! They answered all my questions and gave some valuable information that helped me make a decision .... they even told me about a sale they were about to have and to come out....I will be purchasing soon. read more

A little cramped inside, but I wouldn't fault the business as a whole for that. They were EXTREMELY busy when I was there, but I was not walking out without a new Glock. Some people might not like having to speak up to be helped. I'm the opposite, I would prefer to approach them if and when I need to, which I did, and I was helped. I can't comment on the prices, as I am retired military and was there to purchase a "Blue Label Program Glock". If you qualify for this program, go buy from them! They had Gen 4s of both models I was looking at, in stock. I've seen other companies online that are EXTREMELY backed up on fulfilling these orders. The guys were very helpful and friendly with all the paperwork. I will definitely be returning in the future! read more

Called to see if they could or would repair my Taurus. I was told no, and they call themselves gunsmiths. What a joke.

I visited this place when I moved into town about 2 years ago to check out what they offered, and to have a new muzzle brake installed on my AR-15 by their resident "gunsmith". Selection was decent, and prices were so-so. Now to the "gunsmith". He installed my new brake while I browsed the store, which was convenient. However, he installed it UPSIDE DOWN. I politely pointed this out and he tried to argue with me. I explained that the ports on the brake are supposed to face UP, which keeps the muzzle DOWN when firing. He then reinstalled the brake correctly. Also, while I was browsing, I noticed that the employees behind the gun counter weren't very friendly. They didn't offer to help, didn't speak to me, didn't even acknowledge my presence. I assumed it's because I'm a younger guy and I wasn't one of their older "good-ole-boy" regulars. Bottom line: I haven't been back since. If I absolutely HAD to have something specific I guess I might go back...but there are other better gun shops in Wichita I'd try first.
