Hidden Harbor is a restaurant and bar that offers tropical-inspired foods and drinks. Examples from the food menu are huli-huli chicken wings, pork egg rolls, chicken yakitori, tacos, and street noodles. Some vegetarian and vegan options are available. Examples from the drink menu are tropical cocktails, shared drinks for multiple people, daiquiris, mojito, beers, wines, and over 670 rums! Through their website, I made a reservation for dinner for my husband and me. When we arrived, employees immediately and kindly greeted us and seated us at a wobbly table in a dimly lit room. Our server provided courteous service throughout our meal. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Tropical Itch - 2.5 stars - The server recommended a different drink to me, and I unfortunately chose this one instead. This drink contained bourbon, passion fruit, and orange. A plastic backscratcher (yes, really) was also included. I did not like the flavors of this drink so sipped it only slightly. Crab rangoons - 4 stars - Several rangoons had crispy seasoned wonton wrappers, contained lump crab and cream cheese, and were served with sweet-sour sauce. Island Salad - 4.5 stars - This large salad included lettuces, mango, cucumber, carrot, avocado, red onions, jalapeno, queso fresco, wonton, cashew, and ponzu vinaigrette. I liked the fresh flavors of all ingredients except for the spicy jalapeño. Smash Burger - 4 stars - My husband ate this entree. He thought that it was just OK and made a face. I took one bite and thought that it was "good." The burger consisted of a beef patty, onion, pickle, American cheese, and special sauce. On the side were crispy fries. Please note that the business's website says, "For the benefit of our staff, a 20% gratuity is automatically applied to all checks." Including sales tax and this tip, our four menu items cost us a total of $84.

Had a great time here! While Squirrel Hill doesn't have many bars, this is such a fun bar. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The ambiance was really cool. The drinks were also well worth the money, in terms of presentation and taste. I also enjoyed the food options, specifically because there was a variety of vegetarian/vegan options. I'd love to come back and try other cocktails!

Really fun atmosphere with great drinks, a full tiki tropical experience! Any of the drinks are amazing, with fun unique flavors and cups too! Plus the staff is super excited to give recommendations (which are needed with how many options they have!), super fun for a novel night out!

Still one of the best escapes in Pittsburgh. The theming is top notch the island cocktails are well mixed and the food is amazing. It's like being whisked away to an island tiki bar or Trader Sam's for the Disneyphiles out there. The staff are great and willing to help find just what you need to escape the cold and dreary evenings.

Fun tiki bar with great cocktails! It's spacious inside, we booked a reservation in advance online but there were a bunch of available tables throughout the night while we were there. Fun ambiance and decor inside, good for a casual night out with friends or for a casual date. We tried a bunch of different cocktails. Started with the Sign of the Four which comes in a conch shell. It was okay, I didn't love it. My boyfriend got the Katoa Cove which I liked more. Next we got the Ishmael and the Painkiller. Both were good but the Painkiller was definitely my favorite cocktail out of all of them - so good! All of the cocktails were all super fun in their presentation and easy to sip on.

Great tiki drinks and food to accompany. I really liked the chicken sandwich and got a spin on a piña colada but with tequila. Super friendly experience in a fun, tiki-inspired environment.

This place is such a fun time! So cutely decorated. It was a little loud so we had a bit of difficultly hearing our friends across the table. The staff were so friendly and helpful with questions. You're going to spend more than $50 here, but the drinks are works of art.

Holy Hidden Harbor. What a delightful place. I've been waiting about four years to take a trip to Pittsburgh specifically to go to Hidden Harbor. For my spring birthday this year we finally got around to making the trip and it did not disappoint. We were able to walk in at the time of opening and get a table for about 90 minutes before then transferring to the bar when our table was needed for another reservation. Between the four of us in our group I think we tried most everything and it was all fantastic. For food we tried the cucumber salad, crispy Brussels sprouts, vegan poo poo platter, and street noddles. It's had to pick a favorite when it was all sooo good but the noodles were the standout for me. As for drinks, we tried the katoa cove, Maui gold, arbolito, over the reef, toucan tango, sign of the four, Ishmael, and rum king. Everything was worth having, but the katoa cove was the biggest surprise and most unique. I also got a half ounce pour of the specialty Clement private cask rum which was exceptionally complex and tasty. I'm planning my return soon! Thanks for a wonderful birthday dinner, Hidden Harbor.

What a cute spot! They have a great selection of tiki drinks as well was some more basic drinks like mojitos and daiquiris. I didn't know what to expect from the food but it was delicious. I loved the French fries (sooo crispy) and chicken sandwich, and my boyfriend said the smash burger was good too. Ally took great care of us!

So glad we could visit for a birthday! Turns out they give you a free birthday drink which was an awesome surprise. We ordered way too many spindrifts, shell shockers, I got a mojito, and a bday drink! This was my first time sitting on the patio and it doesn't have the same tiki ambiance outside as it does inside but we still had a lovely time out there. Our server, Will, was very kind and loved giving us suggestions which were super helpful. Still highly recommend!

This place is always a great spot if you're looking for a nice cocktail bar. The drinks never disappoint and I love that they do change their menu and have fun with their specials. I love all the cups here and I had no idea they had a cute outdoor patio in the back. Definitely super nice since it's quieter and brighter outside. Staff was so nice and fun! Love all the designs here too from the menu to the coasters. What a gem!!

I LOVE Hidden Harbor! I hadn't been in years but I will absolutely not wait that long to go back again. I had three drinks and all were delicious and the presentation truly is unmatched. It's always so fun to have tropical drinks in a tropical environment. I'm from Florida and this place always feels a little closer to home. The service was amazing! We had a large group but they were so nice to check on us frequently and even split checks at the end. I will be back again as soon as possible!

Hidden Harbor, ILY. The drinks never disappoint and the folks working there are so accommodating. It's best practice to have a resy, but every time I've gone in without one they've been able to seat me. I normally go around 5-7 PM during the week to be fair. Last time I was there I tried the Over the Reef drink. So good! Loved the tropical flavors with pineapple and passion fruit.

The atmosphere is dark and intimate with a totally rad and almost New Orleans-ish flare to it. They allow smoking which is a bad thing if you don't like smoke hanging in the air, but it does add to the authentic old-timey bar feel if you're up for it. We came here for pre-dinner cocktails before heading over to Girasole (an amazing little old world Italian place) right next door. A fantastic pairing and the perfect night out. All in all, I would go here every weekend if I lived near. Since I have to make the trip by car service, it's saved for special occasions, which may just add to its overall charm for me.

The laid back vibe and tucked in booths were appreciated because we were in our own little world talking away. I don't have much to say about the bartenders because I didn't really interact with them. I think the only recommendation I have is to put the cigars in a humidor rather than a plastic bin. That was a bit off-putting.
