This Review Is Based On My Experience With The Salon With The Nail Salon Aspect With Ms Dariya, Shes Been My Nail Salon Tech For Many Years & Always Does An Exceptional Service & Job On My Nails She Takes Her Time Doesn't Rush & Makes Sure Im Always Comfortable + Like The Color She Puts On Before Proceeding. She Also Does Waxing Services As Well Which Is Helpful! I'd Highly Recommend Her As Shes Always So Accommodating If I Have To Change My Appointment Due To Work Or Anything That Comes Up Which I Greatly Appreciate Her Understanding! This review is under hidden Beauty because the nail technician Works in the hair salon I just left there from getting my hands and my feet done I'm not very satisfied the person that did them was kind but when I asked for the white polish to be put on before the color she did not tell me that I would have to pay more it was only $5 but no one has ever charged me before to get the white polish under my color so that the color would pop also when she was doing my cuticles she didn't do them like anyone else that I've ever been to do them they clean them up real good but she did not clean them like the other technicians have done I know she's an individual but I believe she needs to go back and reassess and reevaluate her technique I also think she felt rushed because her next client came in so my bottom line as far as that goes is I would not go back this is the second Salon that I have come across on Groupon and I think they only do the bare minimum because the price is so deeply discounted and that is the main time that they should do their best so they can have returning customers because if you do shaddy work the customers are not going to come back I don't care how deeply discounted the price is also there were steps that were missed the excess polish is also an issue but better luck to the next person again this review is not for hidden Beauty it is for Malone Gorgeous Nails read more

Fatima is the best!!! She has a bubbly personality and is so fast when doing your hair. I get my roots colored and the blow drying is fast which I love. This is a small salon with a lot of personality! I came here because I got a Groupon for my nails. It was for a regular pedicure and gel nails with Dariya. Dariya does a great job with feet and hands. Gel manicure and regular pedicure takes about an hour and 15 mins to complete. This is next to the DMV and is located on the bottom floor (down the steps) of the building. They have plenty of free surface parking around the establishment. Def check them out! read more

Fatima is the best with cut and color. I have been with her for more then 10 years. I won't go anywhere else.

Fatima is sweet, personable and great at her trade. She gave me the most amazing layered haircut and fixed the mistakes of the prior person. Her haircut was done so beautifully that current hairstylists have been complementing me on what an amazing cut it is. Highly recommend and very fair priced. read more

She was great! I wanted a hair cut and blow dry and she did it perfectly. Usually other salons are rough when doing hair but she was very gentle. She was very nice and I will definitely be back. Found my go to salon! read more

Absolutely the best haircut I've ever gotten in my entire life. Fatima was so professional and listened to all my wants. I've never had a hair dresser give me exactly what I want and I show them all the same picture... Fatima was able to give me the hair of my dreams. Taking everyone I know to this salon. The salon was clean and small, very cute. read more

This salon is really nice and upon entering I was seated. I was offered something to drink. I found out that there was a mix up with my appt so I had to wait a little longer but didn't mind. In terms of waxing services this is probably one of the most unhygienic places I've been to. As soon as I am taken into the room I see that there are tissues and materials everywhere. There was almost a foul smell in the room like a burnt wax smell but after a while you get used to it. There was already a stick in the wax pot and I thought to myself that I hope that doesn't get used on me. I don't know why I didn't mention it. I didn't get the privacy of undressing(or dressing after the service) so that was a little weird to me. Once I laid down the technician was telling me how I have to help her to "tighten my skin". confused I said okay. I thought I would be the extra pull as she pulls the skin taught herself but she wore no gloves and from her actions I could tell she didn't plan on touching my hair and that her job was to apply the wax and remove it. She would only touch areas on my skin where the hair was removed. In doing so she got my own hands sticky with the wax. Also just as I feared she used the very stick that was in the pot and kept dipping it into the pot. She was very nonchalant about it. I came in for a Brazilian and she waxed just the bikini area so I mentioned to her if she got the strip between the cheeks and she said that's not offered with what I've selected. I told her that what she did was a bikini wax and Brazilian includes the butt strip. She said she can do that but it'll be extra. I asked her why? Because this isn't my first time getting a Brazilian done and going between the cheek is included in the price. She goes on to say that she was not aware and she will do it for me even though doing the butt strip isn't included. After she was done she stood in the corner and let me dress and I paid her a tip and left. Once I got home I went in for a look down there since she didn't offer me a mirror to double check everything right after she finished waxing and saw that there were hairs that were long enough to be waxed off still attached. It made me think why did I grow out my hair if you're not going to bother do a proper job? I used a Groupon and got a Brazilian offer for $29. I realized today that you truly get what you pay for. Be careful with going the cheap route guys. It's not worth it. read more

The worst place to do eyelash extensions!!! I've been looking for new a place where I can get my lashes done since my lady who used to take care of me is move to a location where I can go anymore. I found this place through Groupon and it's one of the most awful decision I ever made in my life. The lady who did my lashes is extremely unprofessional for many reasons. First, she burnt my eyes by spilling some liquid to remove my previous lashes and I couldn't even open my eyes. She had to quickly pass me cold water to cool them down. She also takes pictures of her clients without asking, so make sure you'll watch out on this. My eyes have been bothering me recently and I figured chunks of lashes are stuck together which I never knew when they were covered with other lashes. I just don't understand how this lady got her license to do this job. This can create sensitive and dangerous issues to people's visions and she really needs to understand the work and do her job professionally. read more

Fatima is kind, clearly experienced, and warm. I felt comfortable with her immediately!

Nice, small, and quaint place. Went on a Sunday afternoon for hair, she may have booked appointments a little too close together, people were waiting quite a bit. I was a little disappointed I couldn't get a wash and set, when I called to make the appointment they said they did them, but when I got there she said she couldn't do rollers. She ended up blow drying and flat ironing, which still came out good I just would've preferred rollers. read more

I've always been really nervous about hair salons because I rarely ever like the end result, but Fatima did an AMAZING job -- my hair feels so luscious & healthy, and hasn't had this much shine in years (i wish you could tell in the photo!) I have the most amazing hair salon. I have going ever since getting stationed here. Honestly, I'm usually that difficult customer that is never pleased but this place is my favorite. I fully trust Fatima so much that I just sit the the chair and don't have to say a word. I'm sad to be moving soon and since I won't be competing with any of you for appointments I'll finally share my hair whisperer. I'm sorry I'm petty. read more

Got a lash lift with a Groupon! Zayna arrived late but I didn't mind too much. Lash lift was great and I will come back, but I think she could improve by focusing on the inner part of my lashes. Overall, it was a great first lash lift experience. The store was cute and felt cozy. read more

Marie is absolutely amazing! She took careful attention to my nails and was very detail oriented! She engaged in conversation and didn't try to oversell me additional services. I caught Marie as her last appointment of the day on a Saturday afternoon and boy what a fortunate guy I am! My search for a nail salon is over! I feel so relaxed and comfortable after receiving an amazing pedicure from a friendly lady in a busy but cozy shop. There was activity all around and all three ladies together made me feel welcome and a part of the environment without taking away from the service they were offering all their clients. I've already arranged for my girlfriend to try Marie for herself. 5 stars and thank you! read more

I came across a deal on Groupon for Hidden Beauty Salon.. I found a special for a combination facial and eyebrow threading for an affordable price. I called this morning and Iwas able to get in this afternoon for an appointment for my facial. I had the pleasure of having Wahida perform my services. She was extremely professional, personable and had such a great energy. She took her time to explain exactly what she was doing with my facial. She gave me several massages which left my skin feeling soft and supple. This is only my second facial and I will be definitely back to see Wahida. I left the salon feeling like a 20-year-old again. Lol . I recommend the salon and Wahida to anyone looking for a wonderful experience. Xoxo read more

I scheduled an appointment for a lash lift, but received a text to reschedule. So I rescheduled for the next day a week in advance. The day of an hour before they had to cancel. I then scheduled for the next day, but an hour before they had to cancel again. How unprofessional is this?! This is ridiculous! I texted to ask could I see someone else, but no response. I recommend going to a place much more professional. I have never gotten a lash lift before and was so excited, I highly recommend going elsewhere for a lash lift. The whole back n forth by text message is a headache & an hour before a scheduled appointment is even more annoying. read more

My mom has been going to fatimah for plenty of years now and loves her results! I ended up getting my hair done by fatimah because I had messed it up and she fixed it up amazingly! I was very happy with the outcome of it. I also got my pedicure and acrylic nails done with Marie and she takes her time and does the job great! I was left satisfied and very happy with my results. And the whole place is amazing and very friendly. Makes you feel at home because everyone is outgoing and makes you feel welcomed. Below I have my hair photo and my acrylics! read more

Giving 3 stars because overall they were amazing, had great customer and the lady who did my wax was friendly. However I would not recommend that place for a Brazilian wax. I can't speak on other services ( hair, color etc) cause that is not what I went there for. I took advantage of a groupon deal they had going on, and must say that it was not the best wax. You get what you pay for, I want to say they used that Gigi wax, the one you can get from the beauty supply store, the kind they use for eyebrows at the Dominican hair salon not the kind of wax used at a waxing spot like European wax. It was very painful, took more time, a little patchy cause the wax couldn't get the coarser hair out, and was bleeding some. read more

I feel so lucky that I was recommended to go to this salon after just moving here. Fatima and staffer incredible. I have coarse hair (usually with extensions) and Fatima literally has made my hair look perfect. I don't know how she makes my hair so soft, yet still hold its style. I had highlights the past appointment and only told her that I am in her hands - she is the professional. I have gotten so many compliments on the color. She just has an eye and talent for hair. The rest of her staff is just as incredible. If your looking to get a pedicure this is the place. Not only that but the employees go out of their way to make you feel pampered. Highly recommend. read more
