My appointment was at 9 am , I arrived at 8:50. I was the first one here. Finally after taking 4 people who came after me, I was finally called back. I was in their office for 5 minutes and left. The bad thing is I have a special needs child that I have to take with me. So after he screamed after the 4 th person, they finally called me back. They do not communicate very well!!

My son has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. We arrived for our 1:45 appointment on 2023-10-16, unloaded the wheelchair and had a bit of difficulty getting his legs to stand and transfer from car to chair. We get inside to check-in and are told we were 5 minutes late and could not be seen. I found this ironic, there is no problem for us to wait 10 or 15 minutes to be called back for our scheduled appointments, but we are cancelled after 5 minutes. I began taking my kids here 8 years ago, and the experience was phenomenal. They were able overcame my kids fear of the dentist. They actually didn't dread having to go in for checkups and procedures. This practice once had heart and soul, but I fear that has been lost through the changes of time.

Having had a another root canal before, I was expecting to have the tooth tapped and tested with cold water. But I was stunned when they put scalding water on the tooth but she missed and the water hit my back gum. Then she gave me a rod and asked me to hold it and said she would tap the tooth to run a charge from a battery through the tooth. When I felt the pain I was to drop the rod. That seemed really odd and left me feeling they were very incompetent. The assistants went to get Verhelle and he was very rude ... accusing me of acting like I knew more than he did. No one had explained the process for the electric charge. I walked out without any further work being done on my tooth even though I was charged more than $200. I've talked with several dentists since then who said they have never heard of that procedure and those who have heard of the procedure don't know anyone who practices it.

After the consult he was scheduled for his first root canal. He was given a prescription to take prior to the appt. He took it, arrived to be seen, numbed in the chair ready to go when the "doctor" came in and told him his tooth was to far gone. He paid almost $200 for nothing! He was scheduled to come back 2 weeks later for a root canal on the second tooth. Again the same thing happened. Only he was charged $285!!! AGAIN for NOTHING! This is a hard working young man who support his family by actually doing manual labor. Something that few boys do this day and time.
