We got our drinks and moved to the front room where they had live music. We finished our drinks, enjoyed the music and called it a night after one pint. The space has all the character of an old Irish pub and we had high hopes for Courtney's, but sadly it was the one negative experience on our trip. Overall, disappointed. They had a nice spread of gins to choose from, from which the bartender offered various versions of gin cocktails and recommended his favorite gins for each cocktail. It definitely had a nice, relaxing, lounge-y feel to it. Would certainly consider coming back the next time I'm back in town... and I certainly do hope that there is another Ireland trip in my future.
