You love to see it considering buffets come off as questionable depending where you live but the hibachi grill and buffet keeps the fire burning with tasty dishes and a fairly sized variety ranging from fruits and veggies, chicken, seafood, beef and of course dessert from about 10 different ice cream flavors and my girlfriends favorite chinese donuts. With such a large variety of dishes it always depends on what you're in the mood for but i've been here about 5 times and i always get the meat on a stick (if you haven't had it or heard of it check it out it will change you) and lo mein and both here are delicious! i typically eat two plates before my gut is ready to explode but if you live to eat youll enjoy this place. Service is fast and friendly and the restaurant is well kept. upon closer examination of the interior you'll notice this restaurant has been around for a while which is fine. that tells me this restaurant is here to stay and i love that because where i currently live buffets aren't very popular. read more

Gross!!! The sweet and sour chicken was black and made my stomach feel sick. Place smells so bad and the people are so impatient. The lady literally came up to me and my wife while we were sorting the money out for our check and said are you done? like you can't wait? The sign says a 15% up charge if you waste food but i sure did leave a good amount on my plate and didn't see any charge in my check! I was close to walking out because this place is disgusting! The food was fine, but the plates were not. The service was quite linear, and the waitresses kept an eye on you while you ate! While I thought the experience was acceptable, my family noticed roaches on the wall to the left of my table! This is revolting; it's a disgrace! I will never return to this place. Our waitress was nasty and rude. We showed her the 10%off coupon from YELP and she would not accept it. My boyfriend was getting the cantaloupe for dessert, I was at the table and when he returned he stated , "we are never coming back here again!" He then told me about the DEAD SPIDER that was in the cantaloupe at the dessert area. He said the women that was putting the trays out, saw it , took the spider and the tongs out rinsed them off and put them back! I literally got sick to my stomach. We got the bill and vowed to never return. I do not recommend this place ( not even a little)! It was ok before Covid, but completely unacceptable now! (Take with a grain of salt whatever crap I write about some of the food because Chinese is not my thing, buffets are no longer my thing and sushi will never be my thing.) While there are a few other Chinese or Asian buffets in the area, I have never been remotely interested in trying them. But after hearing decent things about Hibachi for a long time (like probably around a decade long time) and with Val-Pak coupon in hand, I gave this place a try. So the deal is you walk in and immediately you are seated and more than likely you are asked what you want to drink before you even get to the table. After that just head up and take care of business. Now while they do have a sushi area and the whole Hibachi thing going where you can choose different items to be cooked, I've never done it and just based on personal observations for the three times I've been in the building over the past year for lunch, most don't do it either. With that off the table what do you have left to choose from? There is a salad area, desserts, fresh fruit, multiple flavors of ice cream that you can scoop yourself and then of course the six or seven steam tables with all of the different pre-done items. A few more random observations: The fruit and vegetables they serve here are good quality stuff. Some of the old guard Lancaster County standbys could learn a lesson or two about freshness and flavor from this place. A lot of the desserts are bad/taste really synthetic. It's the same drek you would get at an OCB. Got to love the vanilla & chocolate cakes seemingly infused with an aspartame creme fraiche . Yum! The non-Chinese items are gross. Dried out rock hard looking pizza and super greasy ground beef that is used in two or three things like the meatloaf. Blech! Eat this only if you want to clear your table with a few grease farts five minutes after sliding that down your gullet. Also a shout-out to the epoxy-like mashed potatoes. It would help to consistently have things labeled or to actually have them labeled correctly. One visit the cheese wontons are not labeled, the next visit their labeled as egg something or other and then last week they are actually labeled correctly. Same buffet position, same look and same flavor yet... Anything here with chicken and shrimp in it or on it is rock solid and should be tried, multiple times. Sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, sesame chicken, etc. are all great. The service here is interesting. Certainly better than most but still, interesting. Unlike at a place like say Shady Maple where when they run out of something it tends to stay empty for a long time, here things are refilled very fast but the staff has no problem constantly walking in front of you or nearly running you over to get to that empty buffet station. When moving your empty plate to the end of the table to be picked up it will barely be out of your hand before someone will buzz by to take it. I mean I like efficiency more than the next person but sometimes it's just, geeez. Lunch gets busy on weekdays but nothing crazy and pricing for that time frame especially with the 10% off coupon is very reasonable. Something in the eight dollar and change range assuming you're drinking water. Overall it's still not my scene here but once or twice a year for a change of pace sounds about right to me. read more

They are doing an exceptional job with COVID-19 restrictions and keeping social distance in place. Would be great if patrons would follow laws and their guidelines... too many want old freedom and put others at risk. The food is really good and on par with Gourmet Oriental and surpasses others. What an expensive and terrible meal!!!! The steak was so full of fat and grizzle. And it was murdered. So over cooked it was like leather. I couldn't eat it And the chicken and shrimp were also so overcooked that it bordered on jerky. I asked for ginger sauce and received none. We ordered steamed dumplings that had grease....GREASE dripping out of them. The only thing that was ok was the crab wontons and for that...I give 1 star. This place is RIDICULOUS. They lost my credit card. After I paid, I realized they did not return my credit card, which of course, the server "Tracy" insisted that she has. They then checked their surveillance and agreed that my card was not returned to me. I then had to wait over half an hour while they "searched" for it. As I was about to give up and walk out, they suddenly found my card and by then, they had charged another customer's bill on my credit card. They did not offer any apologies or anything to make up for this gigantic mistake on their part. Safe to say, I will NEVER be returning to this place again. I started eating here 5yrs ago, while in town on business. It was a goto for us, at least once a week and the food was good, as was the service. I'm in town several times a month and over the past few years, the quality of the food had gone down. Covid-related? I don't know. New ownership? I don't know. Today's meal will be the last I have here. The tea tasted like it had been made with dirty mop water. The rice noodles tasted as if sour lemons had been mixed in with that dirty mop water and boiled to make them. The General Tso chicken was disgusting- I couldn't even finish the few pieces I had on my plate. The pepper steak; well, the peppers tasted like bad mushrooms, the onions were pretty much raw and I'd have to see a report from the USDA to actually convince me that was beef. Here's the thing- the parking lot is always packed. I don't get it. I've tried on several occasions to let them redeem themselves and it just isn't happening. I was visiting area and naturally I pulled up Yelp to find me a nice place to eat. This place didn't have terrible reviews and I was in the mood for Chinese cuisine but a variety so I figured what better option than a buffet where I can pick from various dishes. I thought setup of food was well maintained and they even had a sushi bar toward the back with some fresh sushi. There wasn't a lot put out but that made sense since you don't want to grab sushi that's been sitting out all day. For an early dinner (about 3pm) it cost about $23 for two people which didn't seem bad when compared to NYC pricing. If I'm ever in the area again I would certainly stop by again. read more

The servers brought our check over after one dish, they were nasty We saw a roach on the wall, which prompted us to let the staff know. They walked away. The ambiance is dated. It was almost five years ago I visited this place the first time, during a recent trip, I magically find my way back. Fortunately, the food quality didn't degrade overtime, I especially like the cooked lead green they put on, such as bak Choy and cabbage, they are actually better than some of the sit-down Chinese restaurants. All the other sections are equally good too, and more selections than the other store. I was once again very satisfied. Don't know when will be my next visit, but would certainly visit here. The goal in coming here is to eat a lot of food and not care about how it makes you feel. I came here with my friend Manny who knows his way around a buffet. He insisted that it was the best in the area, however, my reaction, through and through, was "I am never coming back here" Here's why: You go in and there is a mob of people waiting for tables. There are so many people that I found it sickening to a degree. I felt like I was waiting in the bread line during the depression. The snide looks we got! As if we were depriving these people of food? The customers were ravenous and the shifting of the crowd made you feel like you were at a World Cup soccer match. People breathing down your neck, the stale air, the foggy windows- it was unappetizing and a bit intimidating. The people who sat next to us smelled like they hadn't bathed in weeks. It was noticeably bad. We looked around the room and, honestly, half of the people weren't dressed appropriately for a meal at Long John Silvers. It was depressing and distracting. If you think the sushi is anywhere near "the best in the area", there is something wrong with you. I mean, there is no question that it is below-average sushi. The rice was bad and the rolls were tiny. The fish was okay, but nowhere near fresh. Some of the rolls are just doused in sauces to hide how flavorless they are. I was impressed with the selection in the buffet itself. I sampled many different foods and the quality was, for the most part, fine. If you stripped the environment away and just paid X amount of dollars for certain foods, this place would be a fine buffet, but it gets worse. The crab legs are the hottest item at the buffet. I made three trips up and was disappointed that the crab legs hadn't been restocked. On my third trip, I decided to wait for them. While I was waiting, several other people lined up for the two pairs of tongs. I tried joking with them, but these people were dead serious about getting the crab legs. When the crab legs were restocked, it was a free for all. I let the woman who lined up basically at the same time as me use the tongs first. Well, I didn't really let her, she just went for it. She fished in at least six times- it was excessive and inconsiderate. But it got worse. I got the tongs next and started trying to grab the tiny little legs and claws to the best of my ability. While I was doing this, a guy started just reaching in and grabbing the claws. It was disgusting. During all of this- everyone was completely silent. Just fixated on satisfying their crab addiction. I went back to my table, laughing, because, at the end of the day, it's just food. On my way, several people looked and saw the legs on my plate and immediately got up from their tables to presumably get the crab legs. You have to see it to believe it. I don't think I will ever return unless I'm looking to do a report on a crab-obsessed microcosm of American society. read more

I've been coming here religiously since the day they open the doors. Food quality has declined over the last several months especially the sushi which is dry, tasteless and downright disgusting even when supposedly fresh. The servers seem so miserable as they never even smile at all which translates to the business. I observe how they treat other customers and again like I said, they seem very miserable and rude. In the future I will frequent my local establishment which actually makes amazing and delicious sushi including their regular menu which is also amazing as well. They are called New Imperial and located in the same development as the Wise supermarket on William Penn highway in Easton. Wow this is worst Chinese buffet I have ever been to! Owners clearly don't care about putting forth reasonable effort to offer their customers decent dining experience, and apparently they don't have to because enough people still come here to eat. Peanut chicken doesn't taste like peanut, coconut chicken doesn't taste like coconut, fried rice just bad. Even ice cream was bad! They give plastic forks to eat with and styrofoam cups and spoons for ice cream. Also how they arrange certain dishes, like mashed potatoes next to fried rice and lomein. Clearly mashed potatoes should be on another island with other American dishes. I know this doesn't sound like big deal, it's just everything combined creates sloppy experience. I am used to Gourmet Buffet in Allentown, where they put forth effort to create reasonable, decent, acceptable dining experience. There were couple dishes that were somewhat edible such as lomein, hot & spicy shrimp, fried plantains and buttery potatoes (which I'm not coming to Chinese buffet to eat), but it's not enough to overcome all the bad stuff going on here. It's hard to think that buffets are a good place to enjoy a meal do to all the controversies about diseases and germs, however if you understand how to protect yourself from these issues ( bring disposable gloves to handle the serving spoons at the buffet tables as well as plastic fork and spoons) and are in the mood for some good Asian food this is the place to visit. We are frequent flyers of this Buffet. The best part of the buffet is the Hibachi all the way in the back of the restaurant. You choose your fresh ingredients , vegetables, rice, noodles, beans and then you choose Chicken, shrimp, steak whatever you desire. They cook it right in front of you and you get to choose your own sauce like Teriyaki or hibachi or soy sauce. It's wonderful and they make it to your liking. They have so much to choose from both American and Asian Cuisine. They have also a lot of seafood. Alaskan king crab legs, shrimp, clams, so much to choose from. Then you have all of your different kinds of chicken. Sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken, chicken and broccoli, all kinds of chicken. They have beef, oops, egg rolls, french fries, Pizza, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, the selection goes on and on. So much to choose from just not a big enough belly to eat it all. We try something new every time we go. Then we move on to the desserts. They have an ice cream bar with about 8 flavors of ice cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles. Then the dessert bar has everything you can think of. Fruits cakes cookies yummy candied peanuts. So much to choose from. Oh yeah and don't forget about the salad bar. But who cares about the salad bar when you have all this fun food. So just passed by the salad bar LOL. The service is great they always keep your drinks filled. It is not the cleanest place but kind of warm and cozy. It's dim lit and not very loud the atmosphere makes you feel cozy. The temperature is always nice and warm. As I'm always cold I love this place. I think the reason for the four stars is mainly it needs updating. It's older so it doesn't look very clean. Otherwise we go here on a monthly basis. If you go online to their website you can print out a 10% off coupon for your entire table. You can print this out as often as you like and use it for every visit. You get what you pay for $12.99 Sunday dinner buffet. The waitress are good making sure you have what you need. The sushi bar is ok, they prepare the rolls and they are left on a tray until they are all gone, so if you are lucky you can get the rolls fresh. Good luck with that! read more
