They had a really cozy, comfortable atmosphere going, no loud music or tvs and low lighting and I loved it. I ordered a water, a green tea, and a sushi and sashimi combo which came with an avacado roll, california roll, and sashimi of my choice and it came with a house salad. The house salad was delicious, the dressing was extra tasty and I loved the little tomatoes they used, so flavorful, it was a wonderful start to the meal, I was also, to my surprise, brought a teapot of tea, I sipped on it my whole meal, it was so delicious, warm, and comforting, it went so well with everything. I had basically the whole place to myself and I felt so at home. The ladies were incredibly kind, they helped when needed and gave me my space to enjoy my meal. They're amazing chefs, the avacado roll and california roll were amazing, I was recommended the eel sashimi and I'm so glad I took her recommendation because it was honestly one of my favorite things on the plate, I'm so happy she suggested it to me. She was wonderfully kind let me know how to prepare my sashimi sauce and I had a wonderful pleasant experience. Apparently you can only order hibachi at the hibachi grill, unless it's for a kid. I'll forgive the bad business decision, but a 1yo at the grill doesn't work great. We went to Little Tokyo in Fondren instead. For the manager: This is like opting not to offer take out. It's accretive. You fill your empty sushi section and sell hibachi without having to offer the experience. Never been to a Japanese restaurant that hasn't figured this out.
