The Filipino food bowls from MK Kitchen was really good, too... tasted just like a home cooked meal. And, the absolute standout was the juicy, flavorful steak from Arayaki Hibachi. Oh, and there were a few funnel cake trucks, so I don't remember which one I got funnel cake from, but it was absolutely delicious. Only miss of the night was Raf's Shawarma -- waited almost an hour, and the meat was dry, overcooked and disappointing. The baklava was a soggy mess. And, that sponge cake thing tasted like it was growing mold. They even forgot parts of our order. The garlic sauce and salad thing was good, but never again. We learned our lesson. The wait was so long it just ruined the whole night. So, I'm gonna say skip that one and go to El Basha instead, cuz I still love Mediterranean food. For the past couple of months, tacos ELSY has been parked on the side, serving up a variety meats besides the usual asada, pollo, chorizo, and al pastor, but lengua, tripa, suadero, buche, and cabeza as well. These meats are served up in various ways : tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas, vampiros, taco dorados, alambre, and tortas. There's even papa rellena. They even have aqua frescas available and cold drinks in the ice chest. The service is always friendly, the food come out quickly, and you can have the food to eat there or to go. And on Tuesdays, there's a taco special. They take cash, card or Zelle. They may take other payment plans, but I usually carry cash.
