I visited on 12/13/25 after seeing them on instagram. My friends who live in the area also recommended stopping in. They have a sit down as well as a to-go option. We live in Hemet and are always trying to try new businesses in the area. I can say that this place is really good. So far what we have tried is always tasty. One thing about this place that it's not traditional in any way. You do have to order and pay for your food before sitting your self down. They give you a number and the waitress will then bring your food out. Never waited for my food longer than 20 minutes. They also bring your food out on to go containers but I think that's helpful. The agua frescas have a twist, they are combined with two fruits. Micheladas were yummy! Staff is always nice. Location has lots of seating inside and out. Wow! A hidden gem in Hemet! We used to see the truck in the parking lot on Florida but never got to stop. I am so glad we tried The Taco Shrimp. We saw their post on Facebook about their shrimp fries and it sold us, really excellent fat shrimp grilled perfectly, the fries were good, lots of melty cheese under the shrimp which I loved, I don't like cheese on the actual shell fish so it was perfect! The sauce was great too. Their salsas were nice and the guacamole was one of my favorites now. The place is festive but not over the top, really nice place. We ordered Grilled shrimp burrito, combination taco plate (2 lengua, 1 Cabeza with extra Cabeza taco on the side. Which they messed up I have received all Lengua. Also, grilled octopus taco, grilled shrimp and breaded shrimp taco. The food is great but lacking on rice and beans portion (shown on picture). The only thing that I wish it had more of the asada in that specific taco because it had barely any meat, it felt like I was eating just tortilla. lol We also had the fish ceviche tostada, which it wasn't my favorite to be honest. The fish didn't taste fresh or something was off, I can't point my fingers but it just didn't taste good. It also had this tomato flavor/sauce that made it taste like can tomato... or sink water. I don't know, but that wasn't too good in my opinion. We had their surf and turf burrito but honestly it was mostly rice than meat & for $14 dollars I think that wasn't worth it. We also had their Jamaica and guava drink which is was pretty tasty. I, like others, saw this place on IG. It worked and I showed up while I was working in the area. I'm afraid it didn't live up to the marketing videos. It was pretty ok. I had four tacos. Size was a little on the smaller side. Al Pastor - ranked lowest of the four. A little dry. Lacking flavor. And pretty skimpy on meat. Grilled Shrimp - Was ok but below what you would expect for a place with shrimp in the restaurant name. A little bland. Not as skimpy as Al Pastor. Baja Shrimp - Again, a specialty item should be special. It wasn't special but it was good. Baja Fish - Similar to the shrimp, not special but pretty good. Cooked well, crispy, it was average on the fish taco scale of restaurants I'm familiar with. For reference, I think El Taco Nazo is the best, or some of the branch off Senor Baja. Drink situation wasn't great. They have soda fountain machines but only sell cans. It's ok cuz I prefer Diet Coke and their fountains were for Pepsi.
