It was Easter Sunday. Apr 5, 2026. This was my first visit to TDLLO Ramen & Sushi. There was a…read morecocktail bar and a sushi bar. I opted for a table (not the booth). The decor included dark wooden furniture, hardwood floors, door curtains for kitchen, and a ceiling lamp in the shape of a fish. On each table was a pale bottle with a small spout and a large stopper. This was for the black sauce, and the first time I have seen black sauce provided at tables in anything other than the small transparent bottle with double-spout cap. Next to the kitchen doorway was a black board announcing "What's New". The menu is printed on black-colored pages bound by black leather cover, which matched the black uniforms of the staff. I ordered my usual ramen: tonkotsu. It was served with a renge and a fork, the latter for those uncomfortable with using chopsticks. That didn't apply to me. I put the fork to the side and used the wooden chopsticks. The tonkotsu had three thick pieces of chasu, lots of menma slices, some kikurage strips, and a soft-boiled egg served in two halves. Though a little saltier than I would like, the broth was still delicious and complimented the food well, especially the chasu. It had a mild spiciness that caused slight irritation to my throat, but otherwise was worth consuming the entire bowl. It was about 11:10am when I arrived. Besides myself, there was one other party of two. The cocktail bar had two large TVs, one playing CNN and the other playing a sports program. The volume level was barely a whisper. Most of the time, I didn't hear anything. By 11:45am, two more parties of two showed up. The atmosphere was quiet the entire time, and definitely a great place to relax and enjoy a meal during lunch time. As I was leaving, I took a look at the outdoor dining area. It is housed in a patio next to the building. It has plenty of seating and is almost enclosed but for a cased doorway. I was impressed that TDLLO is accommodating to its customers during rain or shine (unlike Noodles Blvd in Cary). I returned on Jul 3, 2026, this time with a friend. We chose a booth and were served by a young lady Lexi. My friend and I ordered veggie ramen and shoyu ramen respectively. Had I paid attention to the picture in the menu, I would not be surprised when the shoyu ramen was served. It had two thick slices of chasu, a soft-boiled egg cut in two halves, lots of corn kernels, slices of fish cake and menma. Essentially, it was tonkotsu ramen with more ingredients. The pork broth tasted saltier than the tonkotsu's but without the mild spiciness of the latter. The saltiness was also apparent in my friend's veggie ramen. The shoyu ramen I had at S.E.A Ramen & Asian Kitchen (Knoxville, TN) had a different broth. It was shoyu, not pork bone, and the flavor wasn't as strong. In contrast, TDLLO's shoyu ramen had a much richer flavor. The saltiness didn't ruin the dining experience. Like the last visit, there was plenty of seating. The quiet atmosphere was conducive for conversations without having to raise our voices. Customer service was smooth. Lexi made sure we were pleased with everything. As we were leaving, a male staff gave us a polite farewell. My friend was impressed with not only the food but also the restaurant's decor. Once again, TDLLO Ramen & Sushi has my recommendation.

The staff was incredibly friendly, offered excellent recommendations, and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. Our food came out surprisingly fast after ordering, which was a nice bonus. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms, which says a lot about how well they maintain the entire place. The music was at the perfect volume, and the lighting and overall ambience created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. The food was excellent from start to finish. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with the Monster Roll easily being my favorite. The hibachi steak was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The crab rangoons were the best I've ever had--crispy, flavorful, and generously filled. Even the kids loved their meals and cleaned their plates, which is always a huge win. On top of everything else, the prices offered great value for the quality of the food, service, and overall experience. If you're looking for outstanding sushi, delicious hibachi, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend OKOME. We're already looking forward to coming back again very soon!

We have allergies to sesame and wheat and the waitress told the kitchen about our allergies. It's an open kitchen so I saw her do it. We ordered a crab roll that was served with sesame seeds. We returned it to be brought a second roll again with sesame seeds. The 3rd roll was ok. We wondered if it was real crab or imitation and asked our waitress. She didn't know and asked the kitchen. It's imitation. Many imitation crab contains wheat. Again - ask ask ask. Guess what? It does contain wheat. So they served us both of our allergens. The manager came over and explained the hibachi they served us also contained wheat. And he blamed the waitress. When we explained that it was not her fault but the kitchen's he said he'd go ask the "chef" for his explanation. He returned and told us that the crab roll has gluten in the mayo too. He wasn't sympathetic or understanding of the severity but did go right back and added GF to several menu items that may or may not be gluten free The ambiance in the restaurant is too loud. The quality is on par with Japan Express but the management and kitchen's lack of understanding their ingredients and safe food handling and preparation combined with the arrogance won't have us back.

I am going to say that it must depend on what you get, and what she got was the Japangmyeon, and she said they were good. However, she's bought packaged noodles from Amazon and said they are just as good. I got the wing Bento box, and this was disappointing. I' m that strange person who doesn't want a HUGE wing, and these were HUGE. I also feel that they didn't have the crispness I expect, and the sauce wasn't as flavorful as I hoped. The salad with what I think is dressing they make, was tasty. The miso soup, tasty. Although I find it hilarious that Korean places serve miso soup, but again, I'm not Korean or Japanese, but I mean, miso soup is Japanese, right? The 2 fried dumplings, "spring roll", and my tempura sweet potato were a little oily and also lacked flavor. But I think I'm the problem. For me, what I like in Korean food is limited, kimchee, oh yeah; the fried wings/chicken, when done well, oh, heck yeah; the rice, I mean, you need it; and I like the lighter Japchae noodles, finding the others too heavy. I don't really like the national rice dish, Bibimbap, because, becasue like a burger, you have to know what you want on it, and I apparently don't know with Bibimbap. I'm not a huge lover of the pancake-type things, too chicken to try the soups, but give me the Japchae, GOOD fried chicken, and the bulgogi, etc., and I'm good. For us, the service was outstanding. Everyone was pleasant, we were immediately greeted, etc. Atmosphere, well, this place has been, I don't even know how many other places, but it's fine. Oh, I did enjoy the banchan, bonchon, whatever, but it was my daughter's first (and last) kimchee experience.

Friendly Gal took good care of us. The menu has a nice variety and prices are super reasonable. The two Vegans loved their selections. The curry veggie Udon dish came out first and looked amazing. She loved it. The rest of us got Teriyaki. They offer it in a bowl or plate. We asked what the difference was and she said it was the same thing, just either served in a bowl or on a plate LOL. Okay, we like choices. Veggie Teriyaki bowl for one guy and Beef Teriyaki plate for the other. Chicken plate for me. Our Teriyakis came with a choice of salad or soup. We all got the salad with ginger dressing. Very fresh greens with a mayo-based spicy ginger dressing. Very good! The teriyaki dishes were not super sweet like teriyaki can be, which was nice as it didn't feel like eating pure sugar. I wasn't a fan of the two dumplings that came with mine, as they tasted greasy. I had a lot leftover, but the other three had no problems polishing theirs off. Do note that the chicken was dark meat, which I prefer anyway, but I know a lot of folks prefer white meat. If I were to go back, I would definitely try a noodle dish after seeing that beautiful udon dish.

I hate to rate this place a 1-star but the service during this visit was disappointing. Some of our friends arrived about 30 minutes before us and ordered something small while they waited. When we got there, there weren't enough seats for all of us, so we asked if we could move to a larger table. The staff told us we couldn't because our friends had already eaten, even though the rest of us were planning to order. On top of that, our water was never refilled, which reinforced the feeling of being an inconvenience rather than a guest at the restaurant. I remember the service being much warmer when I last came here about two years ago. I was excited to see the new market/shop front and updated seating, but unfortunately the service this time made the experience feel pretty unwelcoming.

The cold bibimbap was refreshing and well-balanced -- fresh veggies and a nice chilled contrast to the hot wings. It felt light but still satisfying. I am not sure if the hot bibimbap would've tasted better. I was expecting more flavor, and more side dishes, being it a Korean restaurant. Service was good.
