Great mix of rock karaoke and hip hop DJ. Bri and Johnny were the dynamic duo behind the bar running laps and making sure everyone was taken care of. I stopped by to use their restroom, and ended up treating myself to a refreshing soft drink and some tasty finger food as a way of saying thank you for letting me use their facilities. Although I noticed I was the only non-white person in the bar, I felt completely at ease and welcomed by the friendly atmosphere. The bar had a warm and inviting vibe, reminiscent of the TV show CHEERS, where everyone seems to know each other's name. Even though I was a newcomer, I still felt a sense of belonging. I particularly enjoyed how they served their Coke in a large, frozen mug - such a nice touch! The wings I ordered were absolutely delicious as well. Hubs ordered the French dip and said it was very good. MIL went with the Irish Reuben sandwich and had half to take home. Service obviously suffered as a result. One smaller thing that really summed up the experience: we were the only table sitting in our area watching the horse races, and the manager came over and changed the TV away from racing without even asking us. For a sports bar where horse racing and betting is one of the things that makes the place a little different, that was especially strange. I'm not writing this because we dislike the place -- actually the opposite. We keep coming back because it has so much potential to be THE neighborhood spot for watching games, and we want it to be great. But better staffing, more hands-on management when the restaurant is short-staffed, and a little more attention to the guests who are there would make a huge difference.

Dart Boards in two areas of the bar, pool table, LP's adorn the East walls, tvs surrounding the bar as well as East and West end of building. Patio entrance is at East end of business and often times, during cooler months, you can hear live entertainment there. Clientele seems like your next door neighbor who's here to meet up with friends and have a cocktail. Then there's the few that came for a good, simple meal. Absolutely a casual environment.
