I called on the phone and asked for a 10x10 unit, but my judgement was a little off. I needed a 10x15 and they immediately changed the unit for me. I would highly recommend them, as they are a very accommodating Mom and Pop business. This is what makes them even better. They are not just employees working for a big corporation. This is their business and livelihood. My friend lives just down the road and this was easy for him to handle the everyday adding of items to the unit. Ken S Las Vegas NV

The fact that i'm taking time out of my day to write a brutally honest and bad review about this place goes to show really how bad my experience with this place was. It's in need of major repairs, filled with bugs, not to mention the coded door lock being broken for months. We kept our storage here for about a year or two and made all the payments on time and in exchange we got nothing but disrespect. Not to mention when I go to check the reviews I also noticed there are other unfortunate reviews about how this lady has disrespected other customers.

It's cheap, it does the job too. Sometimes the storage area can be dark but this place is not climate controlled so it's going to feel how it'll feel outside. It's got a small 5x5 storage units too. They had the size we needed, so we filled out the paperwork, and our prorated amount was $24. We checked into Yelp and there was a 50% off first month's rent. To give us the bigger bargain he was willing to apply it to a full month, so we got the full value of the coupon. The staff here is friendly and I love that you can drive upstairs to your storage unit. They also have this wooden thing on wheels to help you transport your items free of charge. However, this place is very hot but the industrial sized fans they have throughout the facility DEFINITELY help.

However, when we had our belongings moved out of storage to our next home, trouble began. Items were missing, such as power cords to TVs and frame mounting hardware for our beds. I had to purchase these items. They did have someone come back and put the beds together. When unpacking we found numerous broken items. Some were glued back together such as a bed post and cabinet drawers to our dresser while others were just broken plates and bowls. They didn't do a good job packing our things and were not organized in keeping items together such as the cords and hardware with the furniture. The worse part was the customer service. I have called over 20+ times and sent emails but have not gotten one response. Once we paid for the services all communication ended. I was only looking to be reimbursed for the broken items that they packed and moved. To me, that would be the right thing to do. They should have contacted me to ask how the move went and if we had any issues. I shouldn't have to spend time out of my day to contact them. I understand things can happen during a move, but there is no excuse not to respond to follow up after a move. If you are looking for movers, I don't think you can trust Ferree Movers of Crown Point to do the right thing if something happens to your furniture, appliances, fixtures, etc. I wouldn't use them again in any capacity due to their unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service.
