I have had one issue after The next over the past year with my aging gelding. I have called Every vet in the area to come see him because I don't have means To take him to a vet. It has been costly but what really bothered me is the bad attitude And quality of service and lack of follow up care and concern displayed By the vets that have been out. My first trip out this weekend was awesome!: facilities are very nice and clean; phone staff are professional and abiding; and the doctor was gentle and considerate. His method Of medication administration was conservative and not overboard. The employee that brought me to my horse also ASSISTED in the heat of the day with Getting my big baby into the trailer. But you're always taking a bit of a risk with a rescue, you're really not sure what you're getting and they typically are poorly trained. Paws in Prison trains each and every dog they put up for adoption. Luna was already potty trained and knew all her commands on the first day. In addition, you get a great feel for the personality of your new family member as each dog has been a cellmate for months with their trainers. Add to that the fact that you're helping these ladies get a start on a second chance, and Paws in Prison is a win/win. You get a great dog and at the same time help make the world a better place.
