We stayed here around Thanksgiving break on the second leg of our Europe trip with friends. I wasn't sure what to expect because I had never heard of this hotel (and was previously more inclined to stay at the Intercontinental but it was fully booked). Ok so glad I stayed here though, for many reasons.
The front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful. They gave recommendations for food and things to do and even helped with some kid-related emergencies (diapers, wipes, etc. life savers!). It was my wife's birthday and they even helped me arrange flowers to be delivered to the hotel, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg, which was surprising.
The rooms were well sized for a family of 3. We got a middle floor. The view was pretty nice, and the windows opened enough to get a breeze. In terms of location, we were close enough to walk to the main shopping mall (10 min walk), and a 10-15 minutes Uber ride from most restaurants and things to do, the one exception being Praca da Comercio (which was more like 25 min)
This hotel left a great impression and I think I'd give them another shot at other countries in Europe. read more
