I walked into a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Once you exit the lobby area and go to the back, the lights are dim. The changing area was clean, there was a locker to put my personal belongs in, and the robe and sandals were super comfy. There was a shower and a toilet and a waiting area outside the restroom with an electric fireplace on the wall. The massage itself was super relaxing and enjoyable. The woman who did my massage spoke softly asking me what areas I'd like her to focus on and what would be included in my massage. She gave me clear direction and privacy. She was firm, and worked out a knot in my shoulder and did a full body massage. There was calming music playing softly. At the end, they gave me a cup of tea to drink while I changed. I was not rushed in the beginning or the end. I would absolutely love to come here again one day for another massage. The main thing that stops me from getting massages on a more regular basis is the cost!

Everything looked enticing, from the herbal soaks to the massages. I decided on a massage and waited anxiously for my appointment. Tucked away in a place that you could miss if you didn't know to look for it, the simple and luxurious interior was a world away from the busy street that it sits on. I was warmly welcomed when I walked in and quickly slipped off my boots and into some comfy slide sandals. After a quick intake, my masseuse allowed me to slip under the drape onto the toasty table. Just over an hour later, I was kneaded into a relaxed state and I floated back out int the real world. Treat yourself to something new and special and stop into Jessica's Apothecary. WEST for a facial during the peak of the polar vortex 2019. The building is a beautiful, old converted home on the north end of Main Street. The space is light and airy, a cozy mixture of Joanne Gaines-style furnishings, healing crystals, and antique charm. Walking through the door, I was greeted with warm slippers and hot tea, and I quickly eased into the welcome oasis from the blistering cold. I had scheduled a Custom Facial with Katie Westgate ("K. West"). This service transforms the preconception that facials are a rough, pinchy experience where you leave the spa looking badly in need of concealer. This service was as much relaxation as therapeutic, and I left with my face looking and feeling relaxed with a youthful glow and none of the redness frequently suffered during more aggressive facials. I fell in love with the lymphatic drainage that she performed, even investing in my own gua sha tool on my way out the door. Overall, I was super happy with my results and the experience offered by K. WEST, and plan to return.

Luckily, Yelp came through and pointed me straight to Saloni. Saloni is hands down the best eyebrow threader I've ever been to, and I've been to many. She is skilled, thorough, listens to what I want, brings out the inner beauty. She exudes warm, healing energy. Appointments are super easy via text. This place is a hidden gem!…read more I had passed the office building it is housed in dozens of times, and only really checked it out after I decided it was time to chuck the razor and look into laser hair removal. Curious, I booked a free consultation, just to learn more. Cara talked me through the laser process, as well as packages that they offer. She immediately put me at ease, and I ended up getting my first treatment that same day. I was so happy with the process that I returned a couple of weeks later for laser on another area, this time with Donna. She likewise wowed me with her knowledge, expertise, and welcoming demeanor. I've since had more laser treatments - loving the results! - and a facial. I went elsewhere in town for a facial before, but I'm never going anywhere else again! My face was dewy and glowing for the rest of the day, and I left feeling relaxed from the pampering. No matter what you are looking for, Advanced Esthetics is bound to impress you, and you will quickly find yourself being a regular, just as I have!

I attempted to contact the practice multiple times to discuss my concerns and seek follow-up care, but I had never received a direct response or a path forward, I was told follow up elsewhere. I felt retaliated against for bringing up my concerns. When I requested my medical records, what I received appeared incomplete and did not seem to include several pre- and post-operative interactions I personally recall. I sought treatment here for my skin, but unfortunately, the results have been devastating. Initially, I was promised a refund and a laser treatment to fix the damage caused by their treatment. This was verbally agreed upon, but when my skin showed improvement, they failed to follow through on their promise. Instead of offering the agreed-upon laser treatment to address the issues, I was told to go to a dermatologist--leaving me with unresolved damage and no accountability for the harm done. The treatments destroyed my skin, causing severe damage that left me with the damage--severe painful cystic acne covering my face scarring, texture changes, extreme dryness, compromised skin barrier everything burns, physical and emotional pain. I trusted their expertise and was hoping for a solution, but not only did I not get the promised refund or treatment, but I also feel misled and disrespected by the lack of follow-through and the poor outcome. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for reliable and effective skincare solutions. I strongly urge you to do your research and find a provider that values your skin and keeps their commitments. I've uploaded pictures to show the extent of the damage, which I'm still dealing with
