I was desperate and signed off on the car anyway. I even double checked later one week in because I was out of state and would have to miss work. I was told that even though I'd have to call off work I still had to bring their car back as initially agreed on. Fine. I'm a woman of my word. But It felt very greedy on their part. I have an Enterprise 20 mins from me in VA. We finally get there and it turns out that if you have insurance covering you, you are NOT required to drive it back! The manager didn't even talk to me himself when I was at the front desk. He had one of his staff members deliver this info to me after we'd commuted 2.5hrs. I am a stay at home mom currently and do not have a credit card. My debit card is my personal spending account that my wife transfers money too. How can they see my 'credit' based on that?!
