I wasn't was renting it. you have to talk with a virtual person first and give information. All i wanted to do was talk with a person to see how much it would cost for day. My daughter had rented a car a few months ago off them but smartly did it online. I will not recommend them at least not the woman who was rude and should not be in customer service.

We had a great experience kayaking along the Grand River with Canoeing the Grand. We booked online,…read moreand upon arrival and after checking in, we had a short briefing (where to stop, to watch out for the ripples in the water as they indicated shallow water with lots of rocks, safety precautions) and were soon outfitted with PFDs and given the paddles. We were driven to the launch point upstream, where the kayaks were already there. The river was very calm and gentle, and going downstream was fairly easy. The river wasn't too busy, other than a few other canoes, kayaks, and floaties that we passed by. You really get the peaceful feeling of being in nature. The wildlife we spotted included a heron and dozens of ducks and geese. The end point was where the office was (where we checked in). The whole process was smooth and efficient, and all the staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great way to spend a summer day in the water!

It was obvious they were fishing for something to ding me with to make a quick $500. Ended up chasing paperwork for 6 weeks because the vehicle was never processed as "damaged" - they were happy to "get back to me" since they had my $500 already but never did. I have never experienced anything like this before despite hundreds of rentals from all over the world. Will never rent from there again.
