After trying several Hertz locations in the area that were less then satisfactory, we stumbled upon this one. Located in the Woodcliff Lake Hilton, this location is small but awesome! I told the salesman what I needed and he booked me quickly and efficiently with a great car at a very good price. In and out within literally 3 minutes!! Being a Hertz Gold member definitely has its perks and is a great promotion on top of stellar service. My new go to car rental place!

This business is an absolute fraud--DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!…read more They promised us that we could buy a car and had up to 200 miles or 2 weeks to return it and receive our money back. We never would have bought it if that was not clearly promised to us multiple times!! We took it straight to our mechanic after purchasing and he said it was a totally lemon--the engine, brakes, and catalytic converters all needed to be replaced and were dying. We asked to return the car the next day and now this business is reneging on the deal. FRAUD!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Because I try my best to be respectful & appreciative, 99% of the time, I get the same in return. So my renting experience generally is positive. But this location takes it to a different level. Every member of their staff, starting from the manager, Sam (always pleasant and full of energy), Andrew & everyone else is very professional, friendly and tries their best for you to have a positive experience. My 18-year-old son thinks this location is the GOAT :):):):) In my experience, treating people with respect usually gets you the same back -- and that's especially true here. To sum it up, if you live in the vicinity or within driving distance from this location, rent it from here. Cars are clean, the type of car they offer you is honest based on your needs, and on top of everything, the level of customer service they provide you is unbelievable, especially after COVID times, when customer service is not as common as it used to be.

I've always had a good experience prior to this past rental. This was a terrible experience and if…read moreI never see enterprise again, I'll be happy. This went through my insurance company. I had to keep filling the right passenger tire with air - so much so that I ended up buying an air compressor to fill the tire. When I called to swap out the car, they didn't have one and were supposed to call me back - that never happened. I finally had to call and they swapped it out after two weeks. Their answer? Oh you could have come here every day and we would have filled it up for free. Right. I'm supposed to drive to their location from wherever I am to fill up a tire? I don't think so. They never offered to change the tire - nothing. It was an unsafe situation to which there was no urgency on their part. I was promised the car had Carplay, which I use for navigation. I travel at night quite a bit and need navigation. Carplay rarely worked - I informed them of that issue when I called to tell them about the tire - no one cared. In the meantime, my insurance company was paying for this car and I had to pay an additional $500 due to the body shop keeping my car longer than anticipated. The final insult was charging me $5 for bringing the car back just a tad short. When I brought back the car to be swapped out, it was over the amount I had taken it out at. Did I receive a refund? Absolutely not! All in all, this was a TERRIBLE experience! I will never recommend Enterprise in Ridgewood NJ and will not use them again.
