The smoothest part of having my car in the shop at the dealership was dealing with this Enterprise. I had a very rough time at a dealership down the road regarding my car and by the time the Enterprise guy came to pick me up i was in a very foul mood! That all changed when I met Bobby, who picked me up. Such a very pleasant young man on a very hot day! He got me to Enterprise quickly and into the office. The small office was hopping! These young men were shuffling cars in, cars out and all with wonderful dispositions! What is usually a very big hassle was done flawlessly and I was out of there in about 30 minutes. My car is back in the shop because of noise that Art Auto body refuses to determine what is causing it. Had to take it to the dealership. Renting a car, I told the guy behind the counter that I had a bad experience at Nyack Enterprise and I did not want to repeat. I asked for a budget car which they totally ignored me and said we have a Nissan Pathfinder. I said what it the rental per day he said 5.00 rest is covered by insurance. I said ok as long as it's not a repeat of what happened in Nyack Enterprise. He said no. I'm deaf so the guy tells ny son it's just like the Cadillac. He said they are just finishing and oil change, should be ten minutes. I said ok we could wait. An hour later, he takes my son and I out to the car. I check over the car and it had no gas. One of the Female Representative said just return it with no gas. I said no you guys need to full it up since your expecting me to return it full. Waited another 10 minutes for someone to fill it up. I've been renting from Enterprise for 12 years now, and this has been my favorite experience. Every one on staff was friendly, engaging and willing to help put a smile on every single customers' face. I recently rented a car for a two week work trip. I have been having major back problems and they helped me into a larger, more comfortable vehicle and it made all the difference. I have to especially thank the assistant manager, Victor, for his phenomenal customer service and willingness to help me out without having a previous relationship with me. The ability to treat customers like people, and not just sales, separates this place in my mind. I'll definitely be referring people to the Bardonia location. read more

My car was in a shop for 6 weeks. I found a good deal on enterprise. Around the 4th week they lured me back in to re-sign the contract . The reasoning over the phone was they needed me to come in under the guise of some state law and how it would treat the contract as a lease...blah blah. I get it. Then upon re-working the contract this smart ass of a guy who did the paperwork doubled my rate and tells me its all about supply and demand. Hmmm...not cool. I am extremely disgusted by the customer service I received at Enterprise in Bardonia,NY. I had often used enterprise in the past but after a few bad experiences I stopped and with good reason. This last experience is the reason I will never rent a car at that location or ANY enterprise for that matter. I rented a car for the weekend and was due to return it on Monday morning. I dropped off my car maybe 10 minutes before the doors were open but I could clearly see employees in the office, so I dropped off the keys in the drop box and left, expecting a call that morning with my final total. The entire day passed and I never got any calls, so the following morning I decide to call to ensure that my refund for the remaining balance was processed. I spoke with Matt who told me the refund should take a day and again failed to provide me with the final total of my rental, so I ask him what the final number is and he tells me is it for about $340....I was quoted $227 and confirmed that 3 times prior to picking up my rental. When I asked Matt why the price had changed he said he did not know, which was already a red flag. I work in customer service and I know for a fact that I don't know is an unacceptable response to a paying customer. I asked why did I not receive a call from anyone stating the total went up or the reason why, how can you just charge my card an extra $100 WITHOUT notifying me. His response again, "uhh I don't know, I think it was smokey". I for the life of me do not know what kind of response that was. The rental car was clean and smelled absolutely fine when I dropped it off. I asked for a managers name or someone that I could speak with and Matt refused to give me any information. I asked for a store manager and all he said was that he will call me which he did not do until 7 hours later, I missed his call and called right back and was placed on hold for 15 minutes and finally realized they were giving me the run around. I asked Matt for the district managers name and contact information and again he refused. I asked whether he even knew his district managers name and he replied no, which again speaks volumes to the level of inept customer service. I know that if I was a Caucasian I would not be charged. I know for a FACT from former Enterprise employees that African american customers are often hit with extra charges. ENTERPRISE RACIALLY PROFILES THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that I am not the only person that has experienced this. I find this practice repulsive and unethical. I even witnessed this biased unethical practice while waiting for my rental, a Caucasian man came in for the same size rental and when he asked for a different car he was given several options but when I asked the same exact thing just 5 minutes prior, I was given one other choice or I would have to pay an upgrade fee, again another way to con me out of more money. Now again if I was Caucasian would I have been given several options.....probably NOT. The car was never even inspected so I find it hard to believe that all of sudden it was smokey. To be honest it's complete B.S. It is disappointing that I can not trust Enterprise with my information, because now I see that they will charge unnecessary and BOGUS fees without any explanation what so ever. I will never rent from this branch or ANY other enterprise and will be sure to tell anyone that will listen how terrible and biased the service is. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB. We see stories like this on the news everyday never in a million years did I think I would have to encounter something like this right here in Rockland County. read more

I rented a 12-passenger van two Saturdays in a row and had a very pleasant experience both times. Very professional staff and the vans were very clean and almost new with under 10k miles. Also had plenty of luggage space which was perfect because I used them to transport my family to the cruise terminal in nyc and we had a lot of luggage. The ten of us all fit comfortably and all the luggage fit as well, with room to spare. Pickup and drop off was quick and easy, no hassle at all. I will definitely use this location again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs car rental. read more

Rented a car for a week, when I first saw the car It had scratches and a had dent I was assured that it would not be a problem. the rep who give me the vehicle also really tried to push on their insurances even though i was already covered. When I returned the car I received a phone call 2 hours later stating that a claim was going to be processed because of same dents I was told not worry about. Seems to be a scam to be honest. I even had the Rental agreement that stated the dent But somehow they didn't have in their system? I won't personally rent from them and advise others to seek other enterprises who aren't trying to push dented cars and then processing false claims on their insurance. read more

Every summer/early fall I travel to Montvale NJ for business. Sometime I drive, sometimes I fly. When I fly I always rent from the Enterprise car rental in Bardonia NY, which is very close by. We received excellent service at this location. We had caused ourselves a logistical problem with the timing of our pickup, and we would've missed the chance to get our rental but the employees at this location went above and beyond to help us out. We were very relieved to be able to get our large van rental for a birthday party that we surely would've ruined if we didn't pick it up in time. A huge thanks goes to both Ashlyn and Emily for staying a few minutes late to save our plans. Ashlyn was super friendly and accommodating for everything and it all worked out at the end of the day. This place is one hot mess. When I arrived to return the car the line was about six people deep and nobody working the counter seemed to have a clue how to address each of the customers needs. I had been a frequent renter from this location and a member of the frequent renter club. This last rental was so bad from a customer service standpoint, I may go to another company, not just another location. When asked why I only had 1 key for the car, they said that the previous renter never turned the keys or remotes. I asked if I can get a second key for my wife who is also listed as a driver. The answer... only 1 person drives at a time. Over 2 days and multiple phone calls, trying too change vehicles or get a second key, the Manager Alex thought it was a joke. When my wife pointed out to him the main reason was the key could get locked in the car or get lost, Alex laughed and said call road side service. Had no regard for our time or safety sitting on the side of the road waiting. read more

I love Enterprise. Never had a complaint until last week when I rented a Hyundai Elantra 2016 model. No bluetooth in the vehicle. Very stiff car with terrible handling. This car had no business being in the class it was rated. It was a terrible car. I actually think if I had gone cheaper I would have received a better car. read more

bardonia enterprise *i am uncertain why yelp would not offer someone to post without any stars, this place should be closed from its unethical dealings. **please note, i am livid but not because inot because i am not responsible for settling their claim. enterprise bardonia knew that geico is so large and they would pay out the claim. they say if you witness insurance fraud, say something. this is me saying something! 1. picked up car from 6/7/18 from manhattan. 2. each staff person i interacted with were lovely. 3. i was not asked to walk around the vehicle. 4. even if i had been asked to walk around the vehicle, the passenger side of the car was not accessible because the car was brought up and passenger side was right on the brick wall. it is their job to ask the customer to walk around the car to condition of the vehicle. that being said, i should have requested it myself. 5. i was fortunate to be able to park with a hydrant in back of me. therefore, absolutely nothing on the back could be from me. i cannot say with 100% certainty someone couldn't have tapped me in the front, but a dent? i can't imagine it, possibly a scratch? also unlikely given the # of inches typically involved with nyc parking. 6. returned car to enterprise in bardonia on 6/19/18 7. the woman who checked me in came in and said the car was all dented. i told her that it was impossible that i dented the car and referred to my parking. the way she described it to the nyc enterprise, i expected to see the front and back and all around in total accident mode. i saw nothing. she said they weren't interested in all the scratches but pointed out to me teeny dents (2 in the front and 1 in the back i believe). i had to bend down when i asked her to point out all the damage she claims was done by me. i would not have noticed them even if i had that walk around. 8. the west nayack check-in lady got onto the phone to speak with the agent where i had picked up the car. i heard her say there was no note on the record and she would need to speak to the broadway manager. he wasn't in but i heard the woman on my end say that all paper work was done on the tablet, there was no note of a walk around and it looked like the customer (me)just signed off on taking possession of the vehicle. 9. bardonia enterprise filed a claim with geico. 10. geico is an honorable company so when i see this type of scam, it makes me more furious. though noted that this was a no fault claim for me, it is ultimately going to raise insurance premiums for everyone. avoid this establishment. read more

I told him about the last problem I had with Enterprise Bardonia I had to call Corporate because of the lack of efficient customer service and the cars were horrible weren't clean. I waited for 2 hours for them to say that they couldn't pick me up because I lived in another town over which made me late for an appointment to see my sick father.
