We were told we could take it to a car wash and they would deduct up to $20 for the wash. The inside had footprints in the back as well as driver side. Also noted, there were no floor mats in this vehicle at all. When we returned the vehicle, we vacuumed out the vehicle top to bottom, wiped down the interior (even though we did not receive it that way) and windows. Photos are attached in the review of the returned vehicle. All of a sudden, over 24 hours later we receive a call that we will be charged $325 for cleaning the vehicle out. I was shocked. If you review the photos of the vehicle, there is no dirt, sand or dust in the vehicle. The vehicle was returned spotless. I will be fighting these charges as that is a little excess for cleaning. Steer clear of Budget in North Glen on 104th and spend the extra money at enterprise car rental. I read all reviews here and the cleaning fees are crazy. They do not clean the vehicles when you get them! Its your responsibility to clean it they said. Attached is also the Budget agreement paragraphs on returning the vehicle clean. Normal wear and tear is okay it states, but a piece of hair, or a piece of sand left behind is warrant for $325 cleaning fee?

There were people in the aisle and luggage along the floor because the racks were full. I had to go to the desk because my membership kind of was messed up. There was a sign to go to the Alamo desk. Got my reservation under my member ship and tried to use the ladies room. Nope. Blocked off for cleaning. Well. I had to go so I knocked in the mens door. No answer so I used it instead. Lucky me that no one needed it. Choose my car and loaded up the luggage. Successfully got my phone to synchronized to the radio. The car was one mark away from being a full tank of gas. After some digging I figured it out just fine though! They abide by state laws, while also not being too terribly greedy. I walked over after a bad experience with the competition next door, and was surprised at how easy it was for a walk in / same day rental! I ended up saving money in the long run with them too. Set it up over the phone and the longest part of the process was my test drive. Great place to work with and really took care of me and my family. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Longer lines, tension between the written word and the action, and a car that was possibly the worst performing car I've driven. The shuttle picked us up quickly, which was great! The driver was nice and helpful. Then, more than 30 minutes waiting, even after doing the online checkin. They needed to verify documents, so there is no benefit to the online checkin, you're in the same line as everyone. Was told I'd be charged a $200 deposit, no problem. Then, they charged a $250 deposit. That would have been ok, I just like to have words and action to match. The car was a standard SUV. The car was such a gutless gas-guzzling SUV. Returning the car was odd. I pulled up and into the line of cars. After 10 minutes, I began to go inside and a worker motioned for me to move the car over to the line next to the one I parked. I moved, he was gone. I just walked around the car and filmed its condition, took pictures of the clean interior, and the full gas level. I went to the bus. So very strange. And, the shuttle driver was great, a nice guy that was very helpful to everyone. The drivers earned the two stars.

Sadly, because none of the car rental places are located at the airports anymore I was stuck at 1240 AM. My choice was to leave? Not go to my hotel? They had me. Their customer service the next day said it's on me for signing. Beware of this scam called NU rentals. Priceline gave me back a small portions of the bill but not enough. NEVER AGAIN!!
