Customer Yesterday an agent assisted me in booking a reservation for a week (#2092118683). GM/Chevy is reimbursing me for a rental while my truck is getting warranty work done, BUT it has to be a Chevy or GM rental. Customer I explained that to the phone agent because no one at the Klamath Falls office would anwser the phone. Once I got the confirmation email, it said "toyota Corolla" or similar. Tried several time to call the local office to make sure they had a GM or Chevy available, but had to cancel due to no response. Customer I have to get a ride there (it's 30 miles away) and can't chance showing up to find out they don't have a GM or Chevy. The rental will be for at least a week, they've had my truck in the shoip for 2 weeks already and don't even have the parts yet. LaKeith has left the chat.     I had a very bad experience with this rental business - one of the worst service/retail experiences…read moreI've ever had. I had a one-way, one day car rental from the Bay Area to Klamath Falls. I called a week before to ask about their hours and was told that they close at 4pm which was earlier than my 24 hr rental, so to simply drop off the key in the box outside. The person on the phone (male) sounded very pleasant. I pre-paid for my rental, used the car and returned it per his instructions. It was more difficult than I expected because when I got to the airport at 6pm, it was empty (it's tiny) and the business address was for a different building than where the drop box was, but the cab driver that picked me up showed me where it was and that was that. But, no - it wasn't... Two weeks after returning the car and putting the key&paperwork in the drop box, I noticed that Budget had charged me an additional $304.82. I called them and was told that the Klamath Falls location had put the return date as 2 days later, making it a 3 day rental instead of a 1 day rental. No big deal - mistakes happen. I put in a claim to get it adjusted and, again, that was that. But, no - it wasn't... Another two weeks went by and the money hadn't been returned, so I called again and was told that the claim had been rejected. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me that the Klamath Falls location confirmed that the car had been returned after 3 days, not 1. This is where things got really weird and really, really frustrating. I called the Klamath Falls location and spoke to the employee (Samantha) that INSISTED that I had a) left the car after 1 day but b) not brought the key back until 2 days later. ???????? She told me that she had checked the box several times during those 2 days and that the key had miraculously shown up after 3 days. By the way, I had been on a month-long backpacking trip so had not been checking my accounts regularly and found out about the mistake when an automatic deduction had bounced and sent my bank account into a complete mess. All in all, it took several weeks to convince Budget corporate that her claims were completely unfounded. I had to send in a receipt from the cab company to prove I hadn't left in the rental car (which wasn't really the issue, was it?) and to talk to several people and spend several hours on the phone before it was resolved. The manager of the Klamath Falls location (Mark) obviously did not take my problem seriously or treat it as important. It took him several days (I think 5) to get in touch with me and when I finally spoke to him (me calling him for the 20th time) he told me that he believed me but "had to believe his employee too" and that "there wasn't anything he could do for me". I don't know how you can believe two people that are saying conflicting things, but he was totally unconcerned with their mistake and all of the trouble it cost me - their unimportant client. This was all very frustrating and just got solved yesterday. I will never use Budget or Avis (same company) again and I would like to warn everyone to NEVER use this terrible location for their business. The woman that works there is a liar and the manager is totally ineffective. Terrible, terrible service.

He found a car on no…read morenotice without a reservation, and was very helpful in changing timing, return dates, et cetera. Car was great, too. Clean interior, ran smoothly, and good gas mileage. I would highly recommend this business on the strength of the employee I worked with.
