Lynan from Shasta seems to recall the days when agents got perks and did hardly anything to support their customers. We booked travel through her. Fine. But when travel plans changed and we needed to rebook, she kept stalling every time we called. Until finally, she wouldn't even answer our calls. Thinking it was something very complicated, we got a friend to help. Turned out not only to be easy to get our rescheduled travel, but learned she was charging us a $40 fee that no one else did. Maybe she's just old and ready to retire- I think this would be best for everyone.

At first, I was just doing it to be entered into the raffle, and I wasn't sure if we could afford working with a travel agent. As it turns out, though, we didn't have to pay her a cent! Once I met with her at a coffee shop in Ashland, I learned that using a travel agent for our honeymoon was the way to go! She was so knowledgeable, and she knew first hand where the best resorts were. She started by getting to know me so that she could get an idea of what me and my fiance were looking for. Budget was one of the biggest factors for us, but we also wanted to have a lavish, fun, and beautiful honeymoon, so she suggested an all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen Mexico. She even recommended a specific resort for us because we were interested in doing some activities while we were there, and this particular place was ALL inclusive and an amazing location, near lots of cool things to do. She patiently answered all my questions via email (and there were A LOT!) and she is really prompt with communication. She was never pressuring or pushy, either. She just honestly answered my questions and gave her knowledgable opinions. When we finally booked the vacation, we just had to pay for the flights and a small deposit to secure the hotel. We then used honeyfund.com to collect monetary gifts from relatives and friends, and we gradually paid off our balance. She even had our flight information personally delivered to our house a few days before we left, and she continued to answer our questions that came up while we were on the honeymoon! I just have nothing but good things to say about Sheree. So if you meet her at the Bridal Expo, don't just keep walking! Stop and talk to her and listen to what she has to say. Plus, she's fun to chat with! :-)
