Tip: This arena is located at Hersheypark…read more Hersheypark Sports Complex contains Giant Center, which is home arena for the Hershey Bears, which is the American Hockey League (AHL) farm team of the Boston Bruins. The Bears have an amazing winning record. Years ago, when the Manitoba Moose (the AHL farm team of the Winnipeg Jets) was making its playoff run, it had a series against the Hershey Bears. Like the passionate hockey fan that I can be, I did a road trip from Markham to Hershey, PA. I also visited the Hershey store while I was in the city. I love Hershey's chocolate, but I was here for the game. I attended game 4 of the playoffs series. I remember speaking to a parking attendant and paying for parking. She said, "Go, Bears!" to me. She didn't realize that my vehicle had a Ontario licence plate and I was likely cheering for the opponent. I don't recall getting any snacks or drinks during the game. I do recall having a decent view of the rink and being sad that the Moose had lost against the Bears in that game. Bears fans are passionate folks. It was nice to see. One of these days, I'll need to return and take in an AHL game. I wasn't on Yelp back then and didn't take a ton of photos. I will next time. (354)

The butterfly exhibit alone was worth the repeat visit. The grounds are calming and the view of the amusement park from the gardens is spectacular.

Ok, now I have been to Hershey Gardens both in the winter and when, you know, there are actually…read moreliving plants. As expected, the gardens are beautiful and meticulously well kept. In the middle of all the beauty is a fairly robust play area for the little ones, including a big fake cacao tree! We had a hard time convincing the kids to leave. If you are heading here without kids, then my all means please enjoy a relaxing stroll through the grounds. Years from now I may join you! Also, the butterfly room is worth visiting every time.

All together a wonderful venue!…read more Came here for a Forrest Frank concert and unfortunately got thunderstormed out :( which isn't exactly the Venus fault but something to keep in mind when heading to an outdoor concert. Thankfully the concert got rescheduled to the following day and I was able to experience everything about Hershey stadium. The stadium itself is wonderful, all the seats are great and the sound and screen quality is excellent. Bathrooms are very nice and super easily accessible from the grandstands. I didn't get anything from the vendors but the options looked decently solid, just kinda your basic stadium food.

The worst concert venue possible. Parking is terrible and will require a mile walk minimum…read more There's 2 entry points into the venue so there will always be congestion. The sound is terrible, somehow the sound crew managed to make Marcus Mumford of all people sound bad. He never sounds bad. The sound crew at Hershey must have the easiest job because all they do is turn all the dials to 10 and walk away. Also, you will spend as much time parking, walking in, walking out, and leaving your parking spot as you will listening to their blown out speakers. Avoid at all costs, even if it's your favorite artist. It'll ruin it.

Well, I understand it's only a hot dog my concern is that the lack of either proper planning or integrity of the promotion is realistic. It's disappointing to see an entity like this. Do such a poor job in attracting people for a promotion and do such a poor execution.

The Hershey Bears (Originally the Hershey Bars) are a professional Ice Jockey team - they've been operating since the 1938-1939 season. Parking usually runs $10/game. My previous employer had a suite at their home arena, The Giant Center. So for the past few years, I had access to that. Other family members are season ticket holders. Tickets can run anywhere from $12.00 for Reese's / Ollie's cheaps seats to up to $100 for seats next to the ice. Always a great family time. #23
