When I was younger my brother took acting classes with them but I still didn't have an understanding of how progressively they are changing the theatre to push the envelope. Last night as part of a yelp event we attended happy hour at the Gamut theatre. They do this great thing where they provide light refreshments happy hour prices at the bar and on and off improv. The best part is that if you attend happy hour then you can stay for the show after for free. I was really surprised when the team (TMI) incorporated it social media by taking polls and asking questions online- to help create content for the show. I thought it was innovative! They offer a wide range of different classes and shows available to the community and I encourage you to check it out!

For $10 (cash preferred) you get admission, a drink voucher, and two hours to play with science exhibits... with a beer or wine in hand. Think Night at the Museum meets a cash bar. 100% yes. Adventure Buddy's highlight was the RaceIT exhibit, where he built and raced cars -- only to lose to my championship Houpe-De-Ville (sorry, not sorry). My favorite? The Hurricane Chamber that blasted winds up to 91mph. Cool? More like cold. I almost lost my contact lenses. Totally worth it. Even though the exhibits are geared toward kids, there's something magical about rediscovering them as an adult. Nostalgia hits, curiosity kicks in, and the 21+ crowd makes the vibe peaceful, playful, and fun. Between touching a tornado, watching turtles migrate across Earth, and laughing at ourselves while sipping drinks, it was an inexpensive, unique date night during 3rd in the Burg. Highly recommend pawning off the crotchgoblins with grandma and checking it out.

Lots of interactive things for the kids and adults to do. On the upper floor there was a cute play area for kids under 6 that included a shopping area, doctor zone, construction and building area. We will definitely be back with the kids next time we need a nice indoor activity.

"Luther: Never Too Much" is a documentary film with actor-producer singer Jamie Foxx as one of the producers. The biopic chronicles the musician's significant influences, collaborations, vocal arranging, backup singing, jingle writing for commercials, struggles with his health ( Diabetes) and weight, and recognition for his extraordinary musical abilities. Sad to be reminded of his death at the age of 54. Finally, the booth options are fabulous for enjoying a flick with friends. The concession stand offers snacks, popcorn, sift, and adult drinks.

We come mostly for movies, but have been here for a musical performance as well. The staff is always amazingly friendly and the theater is always clean. Prices are reasonable...food is expensive, but so is every theater. We would rather our money go to a local business though...where we know it's being well used. A fun night with friends is to be had...be sure to check out the booths. Well worth the money for a few people...we've even gotten a booth just for the 2 of us in a date night so we had the extra space. Make sure to say hi to Dustin when you come in! He's always there and smiling.

Thanks to an early holiday gift, I attended my first performance, the 2025 Christmas Show Deck the Halls. I didn't make any food purchases, but I could smell the inviting aroma of popcorn when we entered the theatre. We enjoyed the lively, excellent singing and performances, dazzling costumes, set designs, and a top-notch band. Deck the Halls is a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas with nostalgic songs and remember Jesus' birth. I must note that 1600 people exiting the theatre parking lot is the only honest, non-five-star worthy concern. AMT Memberships are available, and there is already a performance schedule of shows for 2026; tickets are not sold through 3rd-party resellers.

It is illegal to remove medical assistance devices and she was left with no way to even get to her walker. We brought a small foldable one and she was refused to place it at her seat. This was after we were told to make our way through a very crowded gift shop to the other side of the venue, even though our seats were in the middle. This is one of the least accommodating venues I have been to for people with mobility issues. From the parking spots to removing a medical device, it is wholly unacceptable. The theatre itself is a very nice, modern establishment and the performances I have attended are wonderful productions. The ticket prices are a bit high but better seats always are. If you have no mobility issues you will likely be thrilled with this venue.

5-Star Review: An Unforgettable Experience at Sight & Sound Theatres in Ronks, PA…read more My wife and I had the opportunity to visit Sight & Sound Theatres in Ronks, Pennsylvania, and we went to see Samson. From beginning to end, the entire experience was absolutely amazing. It was more than just a show -- it was a powerful, moving, faith-filled experience that stayed with us long after we left. The moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, organized, and special. The theater itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere made us feel excited before the performance even began. The production of Samson was incredible. The acting, music, lighting, costumes, animals, stage design, and special effects all came together in a way that made the Bible story feel alive right in front of us. You could tell that so much care, talent, and prayer went into every part of the performance. It was visually stunning, emotionally powerful, and spiritually meaningful. What impressed us most was how immersive the show felt. It did not feel like we were simply watching a play from a distance. It felt like we were being pulled into the story. The scale of the sets, the movement across the stage, and the way the story unfolded made the whole theater feel alive. There were moments of excitement, moments of conviction, and moments that truly touched the heart. The story of Samson was told in a way that reminded us of God's strength, mercy, purpose, and redemption. It was entertaining, but it was also deeply meaningful. It reminded us that even when people fall, struggle, or make mistakes, God is still able to work through them and bring about His purpose. We loved the whole experience. It was family-friendly, faith-centered, professional, and unforgettable. Sight & Sound is not just a theater -- it is a ministry through drama, music, storytelling, and excellence. Everything about our visit felt worth it. We would absolutely recommend Sight & Sound Theatres to anyone visiting the Ronks/Lancaster area. Whether you are going as a couple, with family, with a church group, or even just for a meaningful day trip, it is an experience you will not forget. We went to see Samson, and everything was amazing. We loved the entire experience and would gladly go back again.
