A toilet that they replaced later leaked drain waste. They offered no consideration. The toilet did not move or "rock" since their work. I paid again for the same job. They are aware of my Veteran status as disabled (70% rating). Based upon their "military" advertisement, they offer 10% to active duty and Veterans. When informed that the recent job did not reflect a 10% ($32.50) reduction, I received unintelligible speak and no adjustment was offered. Mike sounded pressed for time. I get it. It defies logic as to why any company would burn any customer! People talk and people post. Shaving someone for thirty two bucks could cost a merchant Far more in lost customers....I don't understand. Saving $32.50 is big for me although apparently more so for "affordable". Off the top, Hometown Plumbing fixed my plumbing problem. The guy was friendly, and I didn't feel…read morepressed to use his services. All good. Not-so-good. When the old water line was cut (within the drywall of the interior home room) the guy wasn't paying attention, leaving the cut and going out to his van. There was a LOT of residue water in the line and had I not been watching and able to capture the drainage at least a gallon of water would've spilled between the drywall and the house frame. Little to no ventilation in that space assuredly would've led to mildew and perhaps the need to replace drywall. Secondly, before leaving I noticed he hadn't used any foam fill between the outside wall and the spigot. I asked about it and he said, "It doesn't need it". Malarky! It was needed and I applied it myself after a run to the store. This was just laziness on his part. Yeah, if in a pinch again and Hometown was the only shop available to fix I'd go with them again. Otherwise, I'll look elsewhere for plumbing needs.

I want to thank the fine folks at H2O well service for helping us out last Thursday and Friday. We…read moreran out of water about a week earlier. I was in a dilemma as to which is the best company to call and get assistance from in the area. I called around and was recommended by several people to have H2O do a diagnostic check of our well water system. I spoke to Vince first. He was very helpful and dispatched a truck to our house the very next day. He was able to the finesse the schedule of one of the pump operators that was going to be traveling near our home in route from another job. They sent Mark, who is very knowledgeable and professional. He's been in the business for over 19 years. Within one hour, Mark was able to troubleshoot the problem. He carefully took all of the measurements and notes from our well drilling report and also did diagnostics on the electrical system in the mechanical room and at the well head. Based on his equipment on his truck, he was able to analyze what type of pump and motor would be optimal to meet our home's needs. Because of Mark's expertise and due diligence, I found out that the original pump and motor that was installed was not properly sized for our requirements. Mark called in a report to Vince on the phone before he left our house. This was despite it being past closing time for their business. They were generally concerned that we didn't have running water in our house. Vince began to assemble all the components and equipment necessary for Mark to return the next day and install it. What impressed me the most was Mark discovered that there was a PVC casement pipe that was deformed (warped from heat) about 6 feet below the well head. He had another truck dispatched to our location with a special tool that he had fabricated just for that purpose. He was able to cut the old PVC small section of the casing out. He then installed the proper size pump and motor along with new schedule 120 PVC pipe and an all new electric wiring harness. Mark Took the time to show me all the problems with the old galvanized pipe in the well. It had rusty holes which caused leaks and prevented proper water pressure from coming into the house. He also recharged our 40 gallon water pressure tank with air to ensure the water pressure was optimal. Again, I want to especially thank Mark who did such a fine job on short notice. Also thanks to Vince for caring so much that we get the problem resolved quickly. Now my wife is super happy with the improved water pressure for doing dishes and taking showers. Be blessed!
