The new space feels much larger, cleaner, brighter, and more modern, with four different courses to choose from instead of the two or three I remember at the old location. They also have party rooms that look like they'd be great for birthdays or group events. One thing I really appreciated was how thoughtfully the courses are designed. Nearly every hole has a spot to set down your drink, and most also have a ledge for your scorecard and pencil. It seems like a small detail, but when you're trying to putt while juggling a beverage and keeping score, it makes a noticeable difference. The theming is also impressive. The dinosaur murals and artwork throughout the building really help create the atmosphere, and several of the dinosaurs are enormous. Some look close to life-size and stretch nearly to the ceiling. We played the course with the seated zip line, which was a huge hit with my son and added something a little different than your typical round of mini golf. Overall, the new location feels like a significant step up from the original. Between the updated facility, the attention to detail, and the added attractions, it's become an even better spot for a family outing or a fun date night.

Many games were 1.5 points, but there were quite a few that went up to 4. So paying $4 to play one game is outrageous and a rip-off, to say the least. At Dave and Buster's, they have a much better system, and your dollar goes a long way compared to this place. Also, some of the claw machines weren't working properly. People would win a toy, but the door wouldn't open to retrieve it. The staff was walking around, and I let them know. They said they were going to get someone, and we waited for maybe 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. I then decided to go find someone working at the shop, and she helped right away. The gym offers a variety of climbing surfaces, including those with harnesses, those without, and a kid's room. All first time visitors are required to take orientation which is $33 for 3 hours, and after that there is open climbing and memberships available. The first section is a variety of walls with holds of varying difficulties, then there's also a section with a variety of surfaces that you would use without the harness. I'm including pictures of both. My son, who is 8, spent most of his time in the kids room and then in the first area using the harness. He'd never done rock climbing before but said he enjoyed it after visiting here and wants to come back. Overall, this seems like a good place to pick up a new hobby!

The staff are always friendly and helpful. You'll occasionally see the owner with her dogs, too! Pricing is very reasonable and on par with most climbing gyms. If you plan on coming in during the week, pre book your climbing session online for a really great discount! Also, they do offer rental gear if you need it--shoes, harness, and chalk are all available. And you can also buy some gear if you're ready to commit. The only reason why I'm rating them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because a lot of their intermediate and higher routes are reachy and there's not a short-person beta built into them. Even with this though, they are still the best public climbing gym in the Omaha/Lincoln metros!

The intern working there, I believe her name was Kara, was very friendly and did an excellent job explaining everything throughout the tour. This experience is advertised as an "interactive, hands-on experience," where you get to meet some animals that aren't included with general admission, such as the capybara, kangaroo, fox, porcupine, and raccoons. Most of the other animals can be interacted with during the regular experience, with the exception of the animals mentioned above and the wolfdog. The description states that the tour lasts 90 minutes, but we completed the entire experience in about 40 minutes. That may have been because it was just the two of us rather than a full group of six. As part of the safari experience, you're able to choose one animal to spend an additional 10-15 minutes with, and we chose the fox. I do wish they had mentioned at the beginning of the tour that the foxes tend to be skittish. Had we known that, we might have chosen a different animal for our extended interaction. They also provide a bucket of food so you can feed some of the animals during the experience. Overall, we definitely enjoyed spending time with the animals and learning more about them. However, in my opinion, the experience is priced way too high for what is included. While it was a fun and memorable visit, I personally don't feel it was worth the $125 per person cost.

We did Blackbeard's Treasure, and the three of us, my best friend, her husband, and myself were pirates who decided to raid Blackbeard's treasure while he was off doing whatever pirates do. The thing is...we only had an hour before the captain himself came back. This was a challenging room with tons of puzzles to solve. The clues were just challenging enough that we needed to use a few hints, but they weren't so hard that we felt defeated. When we needed clues, the game master was helpful, kind, and had such an awesome sense of humor. He was easy to talk to and approachable. He even showed us his other rooms! And we can't wait to come back and try out Moriarty's next time. If you're looking for a fun escape room that's challenging and run by a really friendly game master, you won't be disappointed!
