I couldn't find exact reference photos for the tattoo I had in mind, so I came in with a collection of tattoos saved on my phone that highlighted different concepts, line work, and details I liked. Jake genuinely seemed excited about the idea and took the time to go through every detail with me as we talked through how to bring the piece to life. He then drew up a design that captured exactly what I had envisioned. Once the stencil was ready, he was just as meticulous about placement as he was about the design itself. They got me signed in pretty quickly and I sat down to wait. The wait was about 2 hours and I was totally fine with that considering I was a walk in. The guys up front kept checking on me and thanking me for hanging out. Great waiting experience. I was assigned an artist and he took his time drawing a very detailed anklet tattoo. It was beautiful! It turned out amazing and I can't stop looking at it. The shading is absolutely wonderful. If I had to list one thing about my experience that was lacking, I would say that my artist (who I won't name because he may have been just having a bad day) had absolutely no patience with me as this was my first tattoo, and actually acted as if that annoyed him and he made me feel foolish.
