First, the gentleman that was working in the store was so busy watching TV. He paid no attention to us. Then, once we got his attention, she asked about the card. My daughter, a little on the shy side, looked at and inquired about the card. He said he would match online value, we found it at about $173, he said he needed to get $190. My daughter offered $180 and he seemed to ignore her. I told her we are not paying that kind of money for this card at this shop. That card will sit there and has been sitting there probably for months. We left the shop and will never return again. Paying fair prices for individual cards is something we do often. Do not buy here unless you wanna get shafted on your prices because they do not constantly monitor what they have with price guides. Hence the $280 price tag. Their packs and boxes are fairly priced. I can see if I was looking to buy a box of cards or a pack or two I could swing by here but will not for all the reasons above. Do yourself a favor check out A&N San Dimas!

I've compared them against a couple of other local shops and even many vendors at Frank & Sons, and A&N usually comes out ahead. What really stood out during our latest visit was how fair they were with store credit. I brought in some cards from my personal collection that I was willing to part with, and they offered a value that felt reasonable and honest. That store credit quickly turned into Pokémon packs for the kids, which immediately made their day. Seeing my kids walk out of the store excited and holding their new haul reminded me why we keep coming back. Good prices, fair trade values, and a family friendly experience go a long way. Jacob is the one employee who has always been less than polite every time I dealt w him and caused me to cancel a multi / multi hundred dollar purchase for me so I'd avoid him. This is just my personal experience so I just try to avoid him. They run tournaments consistently , have a great selection of singles , and have a lot of desired products. They have a really good selection of Lorcana cards and booster boxes, and the staff is always kind, patient, and helpful. Since we're still pretty new to collecting, we've asked a lot of questions, and they've been great about giving recommendations on what is worth buying and what we probably don't need to spend money on. I really appreciate that they're helpful without making you feel pressured to buy something. They also run tournaments during the week and on weekends for different card games, so it seems like a great place if you're looking for more of a community rather than just somewhere to buy cards. When I asked the associate why they cost so much he said that those were popular packs so that tells me that they are just getting greedy.
