We were so frustrated! We figured out that our county's website has a record of all of the permitted work done in the county in the last 3.5 months, and you can sort by project. It also lists the sq footage of the project and the cost. We could see that Kefficient had done the most permitted projects in our county and they had a fair and competitive price compared to other companies who got their work permitted. We ended up deciding to work with Kefficient. What a world of difference! They quickly got a permit and did the work and had it inspected and it looks great. What a relief after such a poor experience with a different company!

The urgency of the work that needed to be done was honored, and end result was even better than my first one!! This was a far more difficult project, and unfortunately, I couldn't be on site during the project. The daily updates with photos and exactly what was worked on (the before and afters) I got was beyond expectations, 1000% to the crew. The light near the dehumidifier is game-changing and they even gave me a moisture monitoring device. When I learned how cool it was, I asked if I can have one for my 1st house, and they offered it to come brin git by(free). Bonus when the technician came to install, he noticed some dropping insulation and just fixed it. This is why I love this company and will always call them for my needs and highly recommend them to anyone.

Attempting to be objective review of my experience. I had a leak in my house so I quickly googled…read morethe first company that came up. 911 Restoration seemed legit enough. They were helpful and came the first day with a few air blowers (looks like a snail and it works like a fan) and dehumidifiers. They also recommended that I talk to my insurance company (Travelers) to have them help cover the costs. I agreed. However, then there was a dispute between the insurance claims person and 911 Restoration where the insurance guy said they should rip out the piece of wet drywall and cut open the flooring in the bathroom (where the leak started) so the dehumidifier could get inside where it was wet. 911 restoration ended up cutting 4 holes that isn't where the wet piece of drywall was. They also didn't cut open the flooring in the bathroom because they said that the insurance guy wasn't willing to pay them since they didn't do what the insurance guy had asked them to do. Also the lady I spoke to on the phone was unwilling to promise that they would directly work with the insurance company to collect payment. So it felt to me that if the insurance company wasn't willing to pay, I would be stuck footing the bill. I guess that's common practice for contractors dealing w insurance, but for a new homeowner without a lot of money sitting around, it wasn't the answer I was hoping to hear. It also didn't help that the lady who was working with the insurance guy continuously called me asking me to talk to the insurance guy even though I assume they have each other's contacts. I think overall they may not have a great relationship with Travelers insurance. I've learned now that I need to call my insurance company first to find a list of recommended providers before doing the repairs... On a side note, I think the guys who came out to did the repairs were nice and patient with me.
