    I wish I could leave 0 stars. WE WERE FULLY GHOSTED BY THIS COMPANY. MY TWO YOUNG CHILDREN, HUSBAND AND I, WERE LEFT WITHOUT A HOME FOR AN EXTRA MONTH DUE TO THE INCOMPETENCE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! My family and I had a leak in our second floor bathroom, Which flooded all of our second floor and a good portion of the first floor of our house. We had Servpro come out and dry everything which took about two weeks to fully get everything dried and ready to be Rebuilt. I posted in my private community page, We only members of our neighborhood are allowed to Post and reply (Ashbrook Neighborhood). As soon The drying was complete, I posted it in my neighborhood group Looking for recommendations that neighbors had used for situations like this, or for remodeling in their homes. The " President" Of FLOORING RVA jumps into my private messages about how they can do everything we need, they can get it done quickly, They have a giant showroom, They are all fully licensed & Can have someone come out the next day to give us an estimate, all After viewing pictures of the damage. The next day, a separate flooring person came and a separate drywall person came, I guess to do separate estimates? I was insured I would have a full estimate completed within 2 to 3 days. For a week, Robert avoided all calls, Facebook messages, and iMessages. (It's not like he didn't receive them, he wasn't even smart enough to turn off red receipts so I could see he was reading the messages) Week 2: I called the main showroom and speak to a kind lady who informed me she will get with the installation team and have someone call me. I give them 48 hours I called back and speak to the same kind lady, she knew me by name The second I explained what was going on and she was floored that I had not been contacted by a team member yet. The next day I receive a text message to Robert about how he's been so sick that it must've been Covid so he was unable to work (It's been close to 10 business days at this point, when I was told I would have the estimate in 2 to 3 days, Not business days, just days in general. One of the people who came out to give us an estimate told us it would probably be sooner because they would be stuck at home in the snow and wouldn't have anything else to do, but create the estimates.) So I replied to Robert and tell him I'm so sorry that he's been sick, I'm grateful he's finally reached back out to me, That I understand being sick and how it can put a real damper on everything, is it possible he can begin working on our estimate now? No reply. Week 3 - After 14 business days I've ignored calls and messages. I finally messaged and said if you don't want this project, just be honest And tell us, stop, dragging us along, And we will move along to a new contractor. I was once again promised I would have my estimate by the next day. I never received another phone call, message, iMessage, anything from this company. I'm still waiting on that estimate I was promised I would have the next day, and it's been over 2 weeks since that "next day". Do yourself a favor and Avoid this company at all cost!!!!! As I said, they will jerk you around, completely ghost you, and do nothing but waste your time. If they hadn't wasted 3+ weeks of our time, My family could be back in our home by now, our happy and safe place. My children could be asleep in their own beds, in their own rooms, In the place where they feel most safe and secure; at home. Edit: Since Robert did not post the screenshots he promised, I'll post them for the other customers so they can see the wait and the communication that truly happened. I'll be happy to go back through my calls and show where I called the showroom multiple times asking for help as well. After I left a bad review, he sure did contact me immediately because he's worried of other people saying it. And YEP, I said thanks for sending it. Maybe I'll change my review; so he would leave me alone because I'm not stupid enough to work with a company that ghosted me for a month. Unfortunately, they won't upload in the correct order, but if you look at the dates you'll be able to see. That first text message was a week after they had come out to do an estimate. I was never offered to come to the showroom to look around before the estimate. The showroom was actually never even brought up to me. Even if we go by the timeline STATED IN THE REPLY, having someone come to my house on February 18, telling me I'll have an estimate in 2 to 3 days and then not getting one for basically a full month? What kind of business practice is that?

    When I decided against accepting a $1000 credit, this was the owners response.... And tried to overcharge me #buyerbeware

    HORRIBLE!!!!!! They talk fast, make promises and didn't deliver then over talk you when you express why you are unhappy. - They'll call you and quickly return calls when soliciting your business after that good luck. - During the sales pitch they promised a firm fitting floor luxury vinyl (LV) but sold me a floating floor, so my floor has soft spots and crowning throughout where the cement skim coat used on the durarock underlayment was applied. I complained while they where installing and the shop manager said put something heavy on it, it will settle and if that doesn't work we'll come out and make it right. NOPE... they said it was within the standard range and that I would have had to choose a different LV; mind you they pushed their exclusive brand (which is what I bought) during the sale because they said it would be a firm fit and then hid behind "well I'm not privy to what the sales rep said to you?!?!?" - Said they would start in 6-8 weeks ended up being 4 months and that was after repeatedly calling for a start date. - In November of 2022 Promised to provide me with manufacturer statement that durarock was an approved underlayment but wouldn't give me a name of the manufacture or any contact information; provided April 2023 after repeated request. - Restained my steps because the original was stain didn't look right but would not repaint the front of the steps even though they painted them the first time. - Offered me $1000 credit for "bumps in the road" but wanted me to sign a statement that I wouldn't say anything negative about the company. When I refused I was threatened via text with litigation if I spoke bad about the company and wanted me to sign another document before taking the final payment (I refused). -FINAL STRAW- Called the police because a check I wrote was returned because it was written on a previously closed equity line of credit. I acknowledged it was my error and promised to bring a tellers check (which I did within the hour of notification) but he still called the police and claimed in front of the officer that I stilled owed him money (which I didn't and proved). I'm left floors I don't like, trim that has gaps and stairs that I'll have to repaint. Do you research look at other reviews of this company (not the ones they push to the top on their website), I didn't and it cost me.

    We had some work done. Spent over $3500. This is what we got. This was less then a 2 months from when they installed. By the way if you give them money in advance to get the work done at a certain time. Please please do understand they will not honor there time schedule. Needless to say I would not work or do business with them again. Please consider other options.

    This is my second experience with FlooringRVA. I first had hardwood flooring installed by them (see my review on Yelp) and back in January 2018 I picked out and had carpet installed. It's now June so I've had time to settle in with my carpet and wanted to provide a review of the experience. I read lots of reviews and research things to death before I make a decision so I don't give people a high rating just to be "nice". I also consider myself to be be a little hard to please because I'm used to doing a lot of work on my home myself and I have a high standard of quality while being thrifty. That being said, I shopped around a few quotes and came back to FlooringRVA. Long story short...I felt the price I paid for what I wanted was spot on. I had a good experience with the two man crew that came to install the carpet and padding. And 6 months later things are still meeting my expectations. Robert, the owner, was the real reason behind going with FlooringRVA a second time. He personally came to measure and offer suggestions. I preferred to text and Robert made himself available at all times throughout the day when I had questions. I didn't always expect an immediate response but one was always received. I could tell he and his staff were committed to my being satisfied throughout every step in the process and I couldn't find that level of customer focus with any other competitor. For those that want to see, I've attached a few pics of my carpet. Thx FlooringRVA!

    Excellent! We hired Flooring RVA to replace all of the carpet in our house. We talked to four companies before making a decision. Flooring RVA was prompt with giving us a professional estimate, and easy to work with from the start. We were given an excellent, affordable option for carpet that looks great in our home. The other companies took several days to give us estimates, even though they said they would have them ready that day. On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. Start to finish, it took them only 5.5 hours to install carpet in four bedrooms, a living room, five closets, hallway and stairs. That included disassembling beds and moving furniture, then moving furniture back and reassembling beds. They made it look easy, and we love the way our house looks. Thank you, Flooring RVA!

This company, should be distinguished between Virginia TUB restoration and VIrginia Restoration Services. You must put the word TUB in there. It is deceptive. They refinished three of my sinks, two of my showers, and one bathtub. I called other refinishers and no one serviced my area. We live on a farm away from large cities. When I called this one I was told by a kind lady that they were a family operation. It was father and sons working together. I liked that. I was told they had been in business, I believe it was fourteen years. So without checking out reviews, I was given a bid of just under $3,000. It was half what another company quoted my several years ago. I made the decision , not to spend the money at that time, and just re-grouted my sinks. I have a 1853 antebellum home. This company was here one day and came back the next to finish. I did not go into my bathrooms because they were still working. When they left, on the second day, they were loaded up and ready to go before I realized they were through. I paid them with a check because I knew if I had charged the balance on the credit card, it would cost them. I thought it strange, at the time, the man didn't ask to show me the paint job. After he left I went to look and immediately saw running paint in one corner of a bathtub. I, at that time, was surprised they didn't even sweep the floor of debris. I called and he turned right around, came back and put more paint on it. I waited for 48 hours and then ran my hand over the sinks, showers and tub. There was grit in all of them and debris left in the sinks. I emailed him and he said he was not working in a dust free environment so there was a little debris but it would wear off over time. I accepted that and did not argue. Then, I started noticing a grit on my large bathtub by the sinks refinished and there is a layer of grit over my large tub and my mirrors in my master bath. I contacted him and he said he would come back out and fix it because sometime there was overspray and it would come off. At this point, I did not want him to come back. My bathrooms were a mess. His website says he is insured so I asked him to have his insurance company contact me, which he ignored. He told me MEK would remove the overspray paint or lacquer thinner. I purchased both, at over $35.00, and went to work. I have worked over the period of a week now to clean up the mess and I still haven't finished. The mirrors are close to being back to normal but I think, in the end, I will need to replace the faucet on my bathtub. I found "plumbers sandpaper" and that has almost removed the overspray to my large tub. It does not hurt porcelain. It is amazing sandpaper. I have now read the few reviews of this company and am surprised there are so few reviews for a business servicing homes for so long. Are reviews removed? Or, maybe they just started in business. I don't know. Please beware. The man and his son were very nice, I might add. So I felt safe with them in my home.

Measurement to install was a week and it was done perfectly. A small scratch was resolved in 24 hours! Incredible. We have been so pleased with their prices and the job that we are calling them back for more work. Such a reliable company. Stay away from LL Flooring, Floor and Decor and Floor Trader.     I'm in the middle of project #3 with Walter at the Floor Store in North Chesterfield. So far, so…read moregood, and I expect to give them more business in the future. Projects: 1) Replace carpet in 2 bedroom Charlottesville property -- Project was challenging as floors in the high rise were concrete and extremely uneven. I was able to buy extra plush and durable high quality carpet for the cost of lower quality carpet elsewhere. Very reasonable price, including out-of-town installation. Floor Store returned to adjust carpet at the bath threshold where slanted floors left things looking odd. No excuses, no delays, no extra charges. Just a job well-done. 2) Custom area rug -- Love the sisal-look rug which fits my 13'x13' "everything" room perfectly. Got the high end look and high traffic durability I wanted for a great price. Love this indoor/outdoor rug. 3) Shower and floor tile for Richmond patio home -- Project is (still) in progress. It's been challenging due to general contractor issues and delays of several months (NOT the fault of Floor Store). Walter has been on top of the details, navigating the territory of broken contractor promises, no shows, and changing schedules with flexibility, grace, and professionalism. He's been the calm in the midst of a storm no one saw coming. Truly apprciate his patience, kindness, flexibility, and professionalism.
