I ordered an egg, ham, and cheese on a roll along with a freshly made smoothie, and both were outstanding. The sandwich was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want for a classic deli breakfast sandwich. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I returned on our last day and grabbed another sandwich to take on the plane home. Friendly service, quality ingredients, and great execution. The big takeaway here is Fantastic value. With a capital F- meaning great ratio of price to food quality, a reasonably diverse menu selection, and a clean and comfortable place to eat. But let's get real- the reason you come to a quality deli like this is for just a few specific things, done well hopefully; i.e, cold cut or hot sandwiches, some lunch salad options, soups, soft drinks, chips, some breakfast options in the AM and maaaybe whatever entree dishes are prepared on site (from fried chicken to chicken parm)- and I am happy to report that on all fronts the quality here is pretty great. Had the cold roast beef sandwich (good & fresh tasting roast beef- indicative of a quality meat supplier, not rubbery at all), tried the tuna fish salad, was cold and tasty (not too much mayo which is rare), and my partner had a tasty entree dish (spanish rice, cooked broccoli, and skirt steak sauteed up in tomato sauce with onion or something), all for around 17$. Not bad at all, especially considering the high price options in the surrounding area (Industry City certainly caters to a specific price point customer if you catch my drift) Easy recommend. PS- one more note, the attention to detail here is pretty great. As a restaurant part-owner and loooong time restaurant worker, you can catch site of the entire establishment's value by just a few signs of how it treats the minutia of food prep & service. For example, how fresh is the lettuce they use in their sandwiches? How do they store said lechuga, do they keep it cold, protected and not waterlogged before going on the sandwich? Are the sliced onions day-old and browning? Are the cheese slices too thin in order to skimp on price? Are the meat dishes under cooked, or perhaps worse, over cooked and now resembling shoe leather? SO. To answer my own prompt, the lettuce was fresh, crunchy, deep green and not water logged, the onions were freshly cut, the cheese slices perfect thickness and of good quality, and the meat dish cooked well enough. You can see the mise-en-place were neat, clean, and well prepared. The sandwich maker treated my baguette with the care of a maternity nurse. 'Nuff said read more

BE CAREFUL. The woman at the cashier is dishonest and racist. She is a short. She has brown hair. Latina. I needed to get something to eat and only could get some plain rice for one person. She looked at me, hesitated and asked for 6.00 dollars for it. I was so socked. I was polite and quick as a customer. It was today, Jan 23 in 2017, at 11:50 am.
