Like what you would expect, you can find all manner of furniture, decoration and houseware you need or impulsively decide to buy. I didn't need anything, per se, but I nonetheless came away with $200 worth of stuff -- mostly picture frames, wicker bins and other odds and ends. A few other things I noticed on my trip: * The parking was easy to come by. And if you go early on a weekday, you can find a relatively close spot. * Don't skip on the "scratch and dent" section by the registers. I was able to find a frame for much less than what it would cost new. * The food options have expanded as well. Those heart cookies are delicious! IKEA has a bit of nostalgia with it, reminding me of when I furnished my first apartments. It was fun to find items that will work for me now too.

Foundry 317 is along the canal right on Westfield Boulevard. Foundry 317 focuses on home decor and furniture. I clearly arrived right at the tail-end of the holiday season and a good number of the items either had a holiday theme or fit within the holiday season. Items included antiques, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, festive accents, candles, and other overall housing items. Foundry 317 has a parking lot, though I was actually wheeling there. There's a small ramp up to the sidewalk if you approach it from the right (facing Foundry 317). The doorway is pretty workable and I found the interior to be surprisingly accessible (though I will admit I was taking extra caution given some of the prices!). As I was wheeling, I knew it was pretty unlikely I'd actually buy anything on this visit as it would have been difficult to carry back to my car. However, I definitely saw some items I loved and can easily see myself returning in the near future. The employee I encountered was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting, and I really loved some of the smaller items. I'm a candle freak and definitely would like to return for those. I've always found this section of Westfield Blvd. a little hit-and-miss. The sidewalk is kind of cracked and it's somewhat uneven, however, there's much to love here and I loved the efforts toward accessibility. This is definitely a little gem. I'd seen it before, however, I've never been by when they were open. I finally got the chance to visit, and I'm definitely impressed. I'll be back.

So we used our holiday today to drive 30 minutes to the Far East side. When we arrived we noticed on the door it said appointments recommended. We did not notice this on their website. When we entered we asked the saleswoman if it was still acceptable to look around. She asked who referred us and we said we couldn't recall. She promptly told us she couldn't assist us without having a contractor. I explained we were deciding between two and would make the final decision in a week and a half once we move into the new home. Anyway, she reluctantly let us walk around and then proceeded to ignore us for 30 minutes. We finally left. I won't be spending my renovation money with them.

Just a big open space set up as rooms but then have tons of different options for sofas, beds, tables, recliners, and so much more.

During my visit today, everything in the store was 25% off and much of the fall decor was 60% off. There were some good deals on fall wreaths, anything pumpkin, and fall kitchenware. Bed, Bath and Beyond business contributes kitchen gadgets and lots of name brand bedding. I thought prices were good (with the 25% discount) on most merchandise. Storage and organizing containers were abundant. I was surprised to find garage systems available. The store was quiet with only two clerks that I saw. Check out was quick and easy. I found plenty of parking in the shared lot.
