I own a rental cabin in Boone, and the current system was not installed by them. Yet when my guests told me the heat was out not only did they answer the phone on a Friday night, but were out to the house within an hour or two to fix the problem. It did take a couple more visits to accurately diagnose the problem, but each time they were responsive and kind, and at the house as quickly as they could. Nathan, especially, was super helpful and even came out early one morning before his first stop to try and figure out the problem. I'm now replacing the whole system (it's quite old) and they're able to order and get it in within the next week. With renters coming every weekend this kind of response is crucial, and I couldn't be more pleased with the interactions I've had with them.

Josh was very thorough in his explanation and the estimate seemed fair and reasonable. My installer was great. His name was Mark. He had a young lady helping to who unfortunately I cannot remember we moved her name. Both very professional and friendly. Mark was also a Navy veteran of many years and I'm glad to see Edministen hiring men like him who served our country so faithfully. I asked Mark a lot of questions as and he was patient and very helpful explaining things. Even had to come back out to fix one small problem a couple days later and said he'd arrive at 2:00. Guess what, at 2:00, he pulled in the driveway. The install took all day and they worked to complete the work and were done by 5:00 or so. So far so good on the unit. We spent it because there was the bill and it would have been better than replacing everything. However, once "fixed" they said "well, it doesn't sound like it's running right, but who knows? it may run another year or two or not long." So not a whole lot of confidence instilled but at least it was done, here we are a month later and having to replace the whole unit after spending money last month and it not running correctly this last little bit either because our electric usage has still been outrageous. All that was given upon discussing this with them was "I'm sorry it was that much." Needless to say we are using a different company altogether for our new unit!

They stand by their word !!…read more I had a big driveway sealed by Grindstaff late last summer and this spring something did not look right. So I called and asked if they would come out and look at it. They were there the next day and immediately confirmed that there was something wrong, the sealer did not seem to have covered the blacktop properly. They said they had never seen something like that in any of their previous work, but would stand by their word and make it right. They said they would be back up when the weather was good and redo the entire driveway at no extra cost. Wow !! Where do you find that service anymore. No excuses, just honest work. They just finished the job and it looks great. The work was meticulous as well. They trimmed the grass along the edges, blew off all of the grass clippings on the driveway, then worked as a team to get the sealer down, before I knew it they were done and on their way. These are good people, they take pride in their work and the stand by their word. I would refer them to anyone in a heartbeat. When a business stands behind their work the way Grindstaff Paving did for me, that means everything. Thank you again !!
