An employee parks right next to me at 0627 and goes inside. Lights come on. I give her a minute and try the doors at like 0635. Doors locked. I stand out for a bit (20 degree weather) but no one comes to the door. I tried calling both phone numbers listed for the facility but they say the clinic is closed until 0700. I tried the doors a 3rd time at 0642 and finally doors open. The woman at the front (who had parked next to me) was immediately hostile. She says 'the doors are hard to open and just look locked' and 'no one called'. (I tested the doors on the way out, and not only were they easy to open, but automated, so she lied about them being unlocked.) She acknowledges that she saw me standing outside but didn't come to the door. Absolutely rude the rest of check in. If I didn't very much need the MRI I would have left. I felt vulnerable and anxious the rest of the visit, even though the tech was great.

The day before the appointment the radiology tech called to cancel my appointment because they don't do the tests on the orders from the doctor. I'm unsure why the appointment was even made given they reviewed the order at the time I made the appointment. It made things very tough because I had a date for surgery and surgeon needed to review the images to make a plan.

Once imaging was done, I was handed a cd-rom and told results would be sent to my physicians office. That's where trouble began. CD had a website on it referencing a login and code to view results. No code was provided. Had to call and get it. Nothing sent to my doc. Had to call. Then Rayus only sent their radiologist report and not images. Had to call. We sent it now. Nope... they still only see report. What in the world? You had one job. This is all you do everyday. Its possible the receiving portal is at fault but I doubt it. Had to run the CD over to medical network office to get images uploaded in their system. Not cool. The minor dollars I saved and convenience of the storefront imaging site were wiped away by the waste of my time after the fact. Not sure I can recommend.

Maher is the radiologist here, and a true professional. He instructed me not to wear any metal, which was nice because I didn't have to change into scrubs which is a pain. I diligently followed his instructions and had an uneventful procedure. When I walked to the counter to checkout, I overheard Maher telling another lady that her rings, jewelry, etc. had to come off. The ladies here are super nice…read more Justine who does the actual test. Is very comforting. As she is prepping you she keeps your mind busy by talking of light subjects. She explains the procedure very well. She lets you know that there are intervals where you can talk to her and move around. I had to scratch my nose, so she guided my hand to my nose. The actual bedding seemed like foam, comfy. She put a wedge under my legs to help the lower back. My MRI was for my neck and the device wasn't intimidating. What I laid my neck on was sorta like a U shaped pillow. Then like a grill, sorta like a football player wears was open, is put on your face, not confining at all. Added plus I got to listen to Yanni's music. I texted my doctor, if I ever need a MRI again, I definitely want to go there. Update: As comforting as they were the MRI my orthopedic doctor said the CD wasn't done well. This really upsets me, because he said if therapy doesn't help I'll need to go to a different place to get another MRI. it upsets me because I'm claustrophobic I needed to be sedated for the Bloomingdale MRI and now I have to go through this again.

She has a lot of knowledge, very professional and experienced. The staff is extremley nice and professional and organized. I would highly recommend this place as I have heard nothing but good things about it.
