I was seen immediately by an Elite NP Josefina Pilolli. She's Outstanding…read more Had to visit an Immediate care today because of possible achilles tendon tear that I was extremely worried about. The possible bad news could require months of rehab and overall Hell! I was seen right away by her and she could sense that I was nervous because when she walked in the stool by the checkup table had me standing on it with a cord around my neck. She's like "Omg what's going on here are you ok?" I was like "oh oh I'm sorry this must be wrong room I'm the electrician just checking the light fixture" Then she says alright so since your here looking at the imaginary light fixture maybe I could look at your imaginary left leg for you?  Yup! She talked me off the ledge and put me at ease. On a serious note, she's extremely intelligent, thorough, informative, helpful, caring. Now even the best of the best are missing at least one of those attributes but not her. I'm almost thinking about taking up rock climbing with used rope bought on Bangladesh Ebay just to get another appointment! She'll restore your faith in all that's good in people and Medicine. Glad things turned out well today, and I'm better prepared for dealing with my Achilles in the future

Able to quickly secure an appointment and confirmed in advance they accept my insurance…read more Unfortunately, things soured from that point. It has been 2 weeks since contracting poison sumac. Sought treatment because the rash had continued to spread and was now on my face/chin. 1) Tried handing the receptionist my driver's license and insurance card, she refused and handed me a tablet to complete the registration myself. I completed the forms, scanned both documents, then had to type much of the same info in add'l fields. (this is taking self-serve to a whole new level) 2) Returned the tablet to receptionist who indicated they probably could not see me, my insurance is from out of state. I am from out of state, but I have United Healthcare - website says they accept UHC. 3) Decided they could see me and put me in a room. The doctor arrived shortly but only provided a lecture on histamine reactions and offered to print out information on the same. No compassion for how miserable I felt or that the poison sumac had migrated to my face/chin. Questioned whether she was going to do anything and was told it simply needed to run its course. No offer of steroids or a prescription creme to ease the swelling, itchy, and general miserable situation. An aggravating and complete waste of time.

The record keeping is erroneous. The explanations are nonsensical, or non existant. There is zero follow through, and I get to start over every time I call back. The ladies here are super nice…read more Justine who does the actual test. Is very comforting. As she is prepping you she keeps your mind busy by talking of light subjects. She explains the procedure very well. She lets you know that there are intervals where you can talk to her and move around. I had to scratch my nose, so she guided my hand to my nose. The actual bedding seemed like foam, comfy. She put a wedge under my legs to help the lower back. My MRI was for my neck and the device wasn't intimidating. What I laid my neck on was sorta like a U shaped pillow. Then like a grill, sorta like a football player wears was open, is put on your face, not confining at all. Added plus I got to listen to Yanni's music. I texted my doctor, if I ever need a MRI again, I definitely want to go there. Update: As comforting as they were the MRI my orthopedic doctor said the CD wasn't done well. This really upsets me, because he said if therapy doesn't help I'll need to go to a different place to get another MRI. it upsets me because I'm claustrophobic I needed to be sedated for the Bloomingdale MRI and now I have to go through this again.

I have been having 24 hour urine samples tested by Litholink for some 15 years. My experience with…read morethem has been hit or miss, mostly miss. TWICE, they have mixed up my samples and sent me and my physician results that were clearly not mine. How do I know? Firstly, a patient has to provide the volume on the submission paperwork. The volume on the report was no where close to what I indicated on the form. Secondly, most of the reported urine parameters were grossly different from any of my previous results. Upon retesting, the results were then in line with my previous results. Poor quality control and sloppy lab work. IMPORTANTLY, the company would not discuss this matter with either me or my physician. But they charged for the analysis anyway. These 24 hour urine tests and associated blood draws are inconvenient at best. What a waste of time resources. I'm done with them.

Don't go to the website - apparently that is run by LabCorp and Litholink can't do anything about their content - where there should be an alert that tells you that a 2nd kit will not be sent until the first one is received. Don't talk to them on the phone to ask if you can pick up the 2nd kit; they will tell you on the phone you can - but then when you go to a LabCorp to pick it up - they won't give you anything and tell you it is not possible. This should have been pretty straightforward - instead, it is the most painful part of the process...aside from the kidney stones themselves. What a terrible place...
