Well, as it turns out, the post COVID buying spree has turned supply chains upside down, coupled with people buying as much stuff as they can get their hands on, and you end up with delays. We quickly found the style of outdoor furniture, but the color we wanted was out-of-stock and were told up front that there would be an 8-12 week wait relating to the supply chain issues. Having a new house built, I didn't want anything else. We paid a deposit and were called back at about 5 weeks later letting me know that the chairs had arrived and were assembled, ready to pick up. Nice. To be fair, we drove all around the southeast looking for the "right chair" for our porch, and we always found something similar, but didn't sit right, or felt cheap. The brands that Crooked Creek had spanned most budgets, but I wanted the best. It also helps that our money is being spent locally, with what appears to be a family-owned business with various family members working at this location. A few other businesses could take a lesson from our experience. Simple, direct communication works wonders when spending a chunk of change for a comparable item that can be found online for much less. I feel like if we had any issue with these chairs, Crooked Creek would stand by their sale. We will definitely be back soon to order more for the other porch.

I wanted live edge wood shelves for my great room and had an idea on the size and materials I wanted. Eric at Rife drew up a sketch, helped me pick out a nice slab of wood for the shelves, and Tim constructed it! And with the left over wood from the slab I chose, they built a nice little live edge table! I am happy that Rife is literally just up the road from me and constantly has different things to consider.

BUYERS BEWARE! Terrible customer service after their own employee damaged our car…read more We bought patio furniture here yesterday and were told to bring around our own vehicle for loading, delivery was never mentioned as an option. When the employee loaded the furniture, he shoved it in with zero care, gave no warning it wouldn't fit, and never offered padding or delivery. This tore our car's roof trim and left a visible hole (see photo). We called the moment we noticed and were told to come in the next day to "figure something out." Instead, we got the opposite of customer service. The owner was condescending, dismissive, and outright rude from the first minute. He told us the damage was OUR fault, flatly refused to discuss any way to make it right, and made snide, patronizing remarks questioning whether we even understood how insurance works, as if we were too dim to grasp our own claim. When we pointed out that no employee had ever mentioned delivery, he smugly said it "should have been obvious," as though we were supposed to read minds instead of being told. This wasn't an owner trying to find a fair solution and coming up short, this was someone who wasn't interested in a solution at all, and who used condescension as a strategy to make us feel too stupid or intimidated to push back. Zero acknowledgment. Zero apology. Zero attempt to de-escalate or even hear us out respectfully. Damage happens, I understand accidents. What's unacceptable is how a company treats you after their own staff causes that damage. If this is how the person running the business handles a legitimate problem, I'd think twice about trusting them with anything else. I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere.

We continue to buy our appliances from them and in fact just purchased a matching GE washer and dryer in Dec 2025. Three weeks into using the dryer it stopped heating. We checked the breakers etc and called GE Service who was NOT OPEN today. We called Garrisons and spoke with WES. He gave us several suggestions as to what to check, no luck. Later today he came out to our home and checked the 240-line, plug, timer settings, and finally opened up the dryer to find the heating WIRE had come loose and no longer attached. Wes reattached the wire and reassembled the dryer. It now once again works like a charm and as expected. You will NOT get this kind of service at any BIG BOX store and once again KUDOS to Garrisons They are local give not only great service but outstanding customer service.. something we will always pay for and support local businesses. Yes we will continue to use them as needed for all our furniture and appliance needs ... give them a try .

After going to Garrison's, I decided to go to Ashley furniture and Woodstock Outlet. BTW Woodstock Outlet is not really an outlet! The quality at Ashley was poor thus the cheaper price but they charge $179 for delivery. Now that's ridiculous! Woodstock furniture outlet had 3 sofas I liked all of which can be purchased at Garrison's. In addition, WF charges for delivery. Not only is Garrison's price substantially less, they don't charge for delivery. This is a no brainer. Shop a small local business and save money.
